Amerika est un grand étang d´élevage avec une ile qui se trouve non loin de Františkovy Lázně. L´étang fait partie d´un vaste système d’étangs qui s´étale dans le parc forestier d’Amerika. L´ile sert de lieu de nidification et d'ère de repos pendant la migration d'une grande variété d'oiseaux aquatiques y compris de nombreuses espèces classées comme « critiquement menacées » même dans le cadre européen.

Amerika is a large breeding pond with a small island, located not far from Františkovy Lázně. The pond is a part of an extensive pond system spreading across the Amerika forest park. The island is the nesting area and a resting point during migration of a great variety of water birds, including many species classified as critically endangered in Europe. In addition, the whole locality is a natural biotope. The island along with a larger part of the pond has been, therefore, declared a nature reserve in 1990, covering an area of approximately 60 hectares.

Amerika ist ein großer Fischteich samt Insel, der in der Nähe von Franzensbad/Františkovy Lázně liegt. Der Zuchtteich ist Teil eines ausgedehnten Teichsystems inmitten des Waldparks Amerika. Die Insel dient als Vogelnistplatz und Raststätte für den Vogelzug zahlreicher Wasservögel, unter anderem auch vieler heute in ganz Europa bereits kritisch bedrohter Vogelarten. Das gesamte Gebiet ist darüber hinaus ein außerordentliches natürliches Biotop. Deshalb wurden im Jahre 1990 sowohl die Insel, als auch ein Teil des Fischteiches zum Naturreservat Amerika ausgerufen, das ca. 60 ha einnimmt.

América es un estanque de piscicultura con una isla que se encuentra cerca de Františkovy Lázně. El estanque pertenece a un extenso sistema de estanques, distribuidos en el bosque-parque América. La isla sirve como nidal y parada de paso de una serie numerosa de varias especies de aves acuáticas, entre las cuales hay muchas especies en peligro crítico de extinción también en el marco de toda Europa. El área entera es a la vez un biotopo natural. Por eso la isla y la mayor parte del estanque fueron en 1990 proclamadas reserva natural América con extensión de unas 60 ha.

Amerika è uno stagno di allevamento con un'isola, situato a breve distanza da Františkovy Lázně. Lo stagno appartiene al vasto sistema di stagni del parco forestale “Amerika”. L’isola viene sfruttata da diversi uccelli acquatici per nidificare e come fermata intermedia durante le migrazioni; molte di queste specie sono in pericolo critico anche a livello europeo. L’intera area è al contempo un biotopo naturale, motivo per cui nel 1990 l’isola è stata proclamata, insieme alla gran parte dello stagno, riserva naturale “Amerika”. Si estende su circa 60 ha.

Америка – это большой рыбоводный пруд с островом неподалеку от Франтишковых Лазней. Пруд является частью большого комплекса прудов в лесопарке Америка. Остров стал местом гнездовья и остановки во время перелета целого ряда различных водных птиц, среди которых многие виды находятся под критической угрозой исчезновения в рамках целой Европы. Вся область в то же время является природным биотопом. Поэтому в 1990 году остров с большинством прудов был объявлен заповедником «Америка» площадью около 60 га.
