Active papules and pustules fringe the advancing margin around a pink atrophic scar. Granulomatous inflammatory changes may give the papules a lupoid appearance. The process usually begins in front of one ear or under the chin and extends irregularly in any direction.

Infections pyogéniques touchant et détruisant intégralement les follicules en laissant des traces cliniques de cicatrisation. Des papules et pustules actives bordent une cicatrice atrophique rose progressant vers l'extérieur. Ces dernières peuvent prendre une apparence lupoïde suite à inflammation granulomateuse. Ces infections surviennent généralement devant une oreille ou sous le menton et se propagent irrégulièrement dans toutes les directions.

Eitrige, die Haarfollikel in ihrer gesamten Tiefe befallende Entzündung, die zu ihrer Zerstörung mit klinisch sichtbarer Narbenbildung führt. Dabei umgeben entzündliche Papeln und Pusteln den Rand einer schwachroten, atrophen Narbe. Granulomatöse Veränderungen können den Papeln ein lupoides Aussehen verleihen. Der Prozess beginnt üblicherweise präauriculär oder submental und kann sich unregelmäßig in alle Richtungen ausbreiten.

Infección piógena que afecta a toda la profundidad del folículo y produce su destrucción con una cicatriz clínicamente visible. Clínicamente, se va formando una placa con pápulas y pústulas que bordean el margen de avance disponiéndose alrededor de una cicatriz atrófica rosa. Los cambios inflamatorios granulomatosos en el folículo conducen a su destrucción total, dejando una alopecia cicatricial.
