Il giorno dopo, una sua zia la chiamò al telefono e le chiese se aveva bisogno del suo aiuto. Le precisò: “Tu sai che non ti ho mai regalato dei soldi. Andiamo, dimmelo semplicemente, di quanto hai bisogno?”.

The next day her aunt phoned and asked if she needed any help. She specified: "You know that I have never given you any money. Come on, tell me simply how much you need!" Ruth was speechless. The aunt insisted, repeated. Had she perceived in prayer Ruth's needs? As a matter of fact, Ruth stopped by her house and received exactly the amount she needed in order to be able to cover the expense. Ruth concludes her testimony in this way: "I am thankful to God and I remain deeply touched by the humility of Mary, who sent me to the Father. Sure enough she interceded for me with the Heavenly Father, as a mother on earth would intercede with the father of her prodigal child!

Le lendemain, une tante lui téléphone et demande si elle a besoin de son aide. Elle précise : "Tu sais que je ne t'ai jamais donné d'argent. Allez, dis-le moi simplement, de combien as-tu besoin ?". Ruth en reste muette de stupeur. La tante insiste, répète… Avait-t-elle perçu dans la prière le besoin de Ruth ? Toujours est-il que Ruth passa chez elle et reçut exactement la somme qui lui permit de combler son découvert. Et Ruth de conclure ainsi son témoignage: "Je rends grâce à Dieu et reste très émue par l'humilité de Marie qui m'a envoyée vers le Père. J'en suis sûre : elle a intercédé en ma faveur auprès de Notre Père qui est aux cieux, comme une mère de la terre aurait intercédé auprès du père de son enfant trop prodigue !"

Am nächsten Tag ruft sie eine Tante an und fragt, ob sie ihre Hilfe benötige. Sie präzisierte: "Du weißt, daß ich Dir noch nie Geld gegeben habe. Sage mir nur wieviel brauchst Du?" Ruth ist darüber so verblüfft, daß sie sprachlos bleibt. Die Tante besteht darauf und wiederholt sich... Hatte ihre Tante Ruths Bedürfnis wahrgenommen? Jedenfalls schaute Ruth bei ihr vorbei und bekam exakt den Betrag, der ihr erlaubte, ihre Kontoüberziehung abzudecken. Und so beschließt Ruth ihr Zeugnis: "Ich gebe Gott die Ehre und bleibe sehr von der Demut Mariens ergriffen, die mich zum Vater gesandt hatte. Ich bin mir sicher: Sie hat zu meinen Gunsten bei Unserem Vater im Himmel fürgesprochen, wie eine irdische Mutter für ihr zu verschwenderisches Kind bei seinem Vater fürgesprochen hätte!"

Następnego dnia zadzwoniła jej ciocia i zapytała, czy potrzebuje pomocy. Powiedziała: "Ty wiesz, że nigdy nie dawałam ci pieniędzy. A więc, powiedz mi po prostu, ile potrzebujesz!" Ruth zaniemówiła. Ciocia naciskała, powtarzała. Czy w modlitwie wyczuła potrzeby Ruth? Sprawa stała się faktem, Ruth zatrzymała się w jej domu i uzyskała taką kwotę, która była wystarczająca, aby pokryć wydatki. Ruth tak kończy swe świadectwo: "Jestem pełna wdzięczności Bogu i głęboko wzruszona pokorą Maryi, która wysłała mnie do Ojca. Pewnie wstawiała się za mną u Ojca Niebieskiego, jak matka ziemska wstawia się u ojca jej wspaniałego dziecka!"
