Una masa de granito rosácea que asciende bruscamente para alcanzar la cima más elevada, Á Moa, con 641 metros de altitud sobre el nivel del mar. Cientos de historias, mitos y leyendas tuvieron amplia acogida en este peculiar mundo pedregoso que es el Pindo.

Climbing up Caldeiras' river, the visitor finds himself with the medieval road leading to the Peñafiel peak, housed in a area dominated for spectacular granite rocks. From here, we continue to the Laxa da Moa where the route ends.

El objectivo de esta ruta es seguir las huellas de la historia en el Monte Pindo. Ascendiendo por el río Caldeiras, el visitante se encuentra con el camino medieval, que conduce hasta el Pico Peñafiel, emplazaddo en una zona dominada por rocas graníticas de espectacular beleza. Desde aquí, continuamos hasta la Laxa da Moa, donde finaliza a ruta.

Its terrain is rugged, alternating valleys and slopes, and it does not exceed 700 meters high; the highest peak is A Moa, summit of Pindo´s Mountain. The hydrographic net consists of rivers and brooks, among them the Vadebois river, without forgettinthe Xallas that it is the limit by the north with the municipality of Dumbria (one of the few rivers in Europe that flows into the sea as a waterfall, the well known Ézaro´s Waterfall.

Su orografía es accidentada, alternando valles y laderas y no supera los 700 metros de altitud; la mayor altura le corresponde á Moa, cima del Monte Pindo. La red hidrográfica está formada por ríos y regatos, entre ellos destaca el río Vadebois, sin olvidarnos del Xallas que sirve de límite por el Norte con el Ayuntamiento de Dumbría (uno de los pocos ríos de Europa que desemboca en cascada, la conocidísima Cascada del Ézaro).
