This is exactly what Antoine Audiau and Manuel Warosz have done, a couple of extraordinary Parisian graphic artists who sign their works as Antoine+Manuel. The cabinet they have designed for this new collection brought out by BD Barcelona Design is a surprising mixture of applied arts, hieroglyphic language, contemporary graphics, fantasy and optimism. It is produced with the quality of yesterday but using today’s technologies.

Արցախում է Ավստրալիայում մեր հանրապետության պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Քայլար Միքայելյանն իր տիկնոջ հետ: Այսօր Հայ Հեղափոխական Դաշնակցության Արցախի կենտրոնական կոմիտեի գրասենյակում հյուրերը հանդիպում ունեցան արցախյան պատերազմում և ապրիլյան դեպքերի ժամանակ զոհված ու հաշմանդամ մի խումբ զինծառայողների հարազատների հետ: Արդեն 19-րդ տարին է՝ Ավստրալիայում ունենք Արցախի ներկայացուցչություն, որի աշխատանքները բազմաբնույթ են` տնտեսական ծրագրերից մինչև քաղաքական: Քայլար Միքայելյանը Ավստրալիայում Արցախի հանրապետության ներկայացուցիչն է 2015թ հոկտեմբերից: Նա բազմավաստակ ուսուցիչ է. հայ ինքնության, ազգային լեզվամտածողության պահպանման և սփյուռքահայ սերնդի հայեցի կրթության ու դաստիարակության գործում մեծ ավանդ ունի: Ավստրալիայի հայ համայնքի կողմից երախտագիտություն ու զորակցություն հայտնելով զոհված ու հաշմանդամ զինծառայողների հարազատներին՝ Քայլար Միքայելյանը նրանց փոխանցեց նաև դրամական օգնություն, որը նվիրաբերել է Ավստրալիայում բնակվող մեր հայրենակիցներից մեկը, ով նաև խնդրել է, որ չհիշատակեն անունը:Նվիրաբերած դրամական օգնությունից բաժին կունենան նաև Ստեփանակերտում գործող մանկական հիվանդանոցն ու զիվորական հոսպիտալը:

Ce phénomène peut même se produire en réponse à l’innovation la plus prosaïque. Un exemple classique – bien connu des étudiants spécialisés dans l’aide au développement – est celui de l’introduction de tracteurs agricoles (et je crois comprendre que c’est un peu ce que nous avons fait récemment à Kandahar). La production agricole devient alors plus efficiente, mais par voie de conséquence, un grand nombre de jeunes hommes sans instruction perdent leur emploi, sont ainsi laissés à eux-mêmes sans aucun autre débouché, non seulement dans l’immédiat mais dans un avenir prévisible. Les familles étendues deviennent économiquement dysfonctionnelles et éclatent. De telles trajectoires évolutives peuvent avoir des conséquences très néfastes sur le tissu des sociétés qui, à maints égards, sont l’antithèse même du monde libéral avec lequel nous sommes familiers aujourd’hui – un monde où l’individualisme atomistique est une valeur fondamentale et où la mobilité des travailleurs est un préalable à la création de la richesse matérielle à laquelle nous sommes si fortement attachés.
