Même après sa mort, le chevalier ne retrouva la paix. Par les nuits sombres, des grondements, des cris et des hennissements de chevaux sortent du cœur du rocher. Seules les hautes colonnes rocheuses ressemblant à des tours de pierre sont restées.

There are many legends and tales associated with the Tall Stone, such as the legend of the evil knight and his castle, tales of elves, the "White Lady", and a big treasure. It is said that a massive castle had stood on the site and the cruel and merciless lord who dwelled in the castle tormented his serfs. One day, an old wandering singer entered the castle gate to entertain his lordship. However, the knight sent his dogs at the singer. The injured and humiliated singer cursed the inhospitable place, bringing disaster on the evil knight and his castle. The earth shook and the castle disappeared into the deep. The knight, however, did not find peace at death's door. When the night is dark, the sound of rumble, cries and neighing horses may be heard from the entrails of the stone. Only tall stone columns resembling stone towers have remained standing to our time.

Der Hohe Stein ist von zahlreichen Sagen und Legenden umsponnen – der Sage vom „bösen Ritter und seiner Burg“, von „Bergwichten“ oder der „Weißen Frau“ und natürlich von einem großen Schatz. Vor Jahrhunderten stand hier angeblich eine große und feste Burg, deren grausamer Herr seine Untertanen erbarmungslos tyrannisierte. Einmal sei ein alter Wandersänger ins Tor getreten, um die Herrschaft mit seinem Gesang zu ergötzen. Der böse Ritter hetzte jedoch Hunde auf ihn. Der tief verletzte und gedemütigte Sänger verfluchte diesen ungastlichen Ort und schwor hierbei Unheil für den bösen Herren und seine Burg herauf. Plötzlich erbebte die Erde und die Burg wurde vom Erdboden verschlungen. Aber auch nach dem Tode fand der Ritter keine Ruh. In finsteren Nächten ertönt aus dem Innern des Felses Lärm, Gejohle und Pferdegewieher. Nur noch die hohen Felssäulen, die bis heute an die einstigen Felstürme erinnern, blieben stehen.

Aparecieron muchas leyendas sobre la Piedra Alta, de un caballero malo y su castillo, de duendes o de una “Dama Blanca” y un enorme tesoro. Dicen que hace siglos había allí un castillo grande y fuerte cuyo dueño, cruel y despiadado, angustiaba a sus vasallos. Una vez entró por la puerta del castillo un juglar viejo para entretener al señorío. Sin embargo, el caballero lanzó los perros contra él. El juglar herido y humillado luego maldijo aquél lugar hostil y acarreó así la destrucción al dueño malo y a su castillo. La tierra se estremeció y el castillo se hundió en profundidades. El caballero no encontró la tranquilidad ni después de su muerte. En noches oscuras suelen oírse del interior de la roca ruidos, gritos y relinchos de caballo. Hasta hoy sólo han quedado, columnas rocosas altas que recuerdan las torres rocosas.

Sono nate diverse leggende su Vysoký kamen, sul cavaliere perfido ed il suo castello, sugli gnomi o sulla “dama bianca” ed il grande tesoro. Secoli fa, si sarebbe trovato proprio qui un castello grande ed inespugnabile, il cui signore, crudele e senza scrupoli, tormentava i propri sudditi. Un giorno al castello arrivò un vecchio cantore errante per far divertire i signori. Il cavaliere però gli mandò contro i cani. Il cantore, ferito e offeso, maledisse questo luogo inospitale, cosicché sul signore crudele ed il suo castello si abbatté una sciagura. La terrà tremò e l’intero castello fu inghiottito dalle sue viscere. Il cavaliere neanche dopo la morte trovò pace. Pare che nelle notti buie si possa udire venir fuori dalla roccia lo scalpitio, le grida ed i nitriti dei cavalli. Sono rimaste solo le alte colonne rocciose che ci ricordano, ancora oggi, la torre in pietra.

О Высоком камне сложился ряд преданий, о злом рыцаре и его крепости, о гномах или о «даме в белом» и большом кладе. Говорят, что столетия назад здесь стояла большая и мощная крепость, жестокий и безжалостный владелец которой наводил ужас на своих подданных. Однажды в крепостные ворота вошел старый бродячий певец, чтобы развлечь господ. Но рыцарь натравил на него псов. Раненый и униженный певец проклял это негостеприимное место, призвав погибель на злого хозяина и его крепость. Земля содрогнулась, и крепость провалилась под землю. Даже после смерти рыцарь не обрел покой. Говорят, в темные ночи изнутри скалы доносится грохот, визг и ржание лошадей. Здесь остались лишь высокие скальные столбы, напоминающие каменные башни.
