Der Aufenthalt in dieser Gegend wird noch interessanter, wenn man Ende August der Segelregatta Vela Latina beiwohnen kann. Eine internationale Veranstaltung für Segelschiffe mit Lateinersegel, an der jedes Jahr hunderte von Segelschiffen aus ganz Italien teilnehmen. Diese segelregatta war im Mittelmeerraum schon zu Zeiten der Seerepubliken weit verbreitet.

La permanencia en este lugar se hace aún más interesante cuando se puede asistir y participar, a finales de agosto, en la regata de la Vela Latina, un evento internacional dedicado a los barcos antiguos, y en la que se ven venir, sobre las aguas cristalinas de Stintino, cientos de barcos tradicionales de toda Italia. La Vela Latina fue la vela típica del Mediterráneo desde la época de las Repúblicas Marineras.

Il soggiorno in questa località è reso ancora più interessante se si può assistere e partecipare, a fine agosto, alla regata della Vela Latina, importante manifestazione internazionale dedicata all’antica velatura che vede giungere, nel mare cristallino di Stintino, centinaia di imbarcazioni tradizionali provenienti da tutta Italia. La Vela Latina era la tipica velatura mediterranea fin dai tempi delle Repubbliche Marinare.
