Wir verkaufen keine digitalen Formate (mobi, epub), weil wir einerseits die digitalen Rechte für viele Werke nicht haben, andererseits aber weil wir unter Creative Commons lizensieren und Vervielfältigungen zulassen, sodass jemand sofort und legal eine Kopie dieses Archivs auf eine andere Seite stellen könnte, wo sie dann kostenlos zum Download bereit stünde.

Up until the present, our publishing house’s income has come from the sales of books in print. We upload a PDF copy to the Web but we believe that this, as well as favoring the spread of critical thinking and culture, makes us more visible and has a positive effect on the sales. We do not sell the digital formats (mobi, epub), on the one hand, because we do not have the digital rights of many copies, but on the other hand, because we license with CC and allow copying, someone could immediately, and legally, upload a copy of that file to a different website from which it could be downloaded without cost. Seen as ours is a political project which looks for material sustenance to continue producing politics, the fact that the downloads could be produced on another site lowers the possibility that someone, on downloading one of our texts, accesses other contents of debate or the dates for book launches, debates, projections, etc.

Hasta la actualidad, los ingresos de nuestra editorial han provenido de las ventas de los libros en papel. Subimos a la Red una copia en PDF pero creemos que eso, además de favorecer la extensión de la crítica y la cultura, nos hace más visibles y repercute positivamente en las ventas. No vendemos los formatos digitales (mobi, epub) por un lado, porque no tenemos los derechos digitales de muchas obras, pero por otro lado, porque al licenciar con CC y permitir la copia, alguien podría subir inmediatamente y de forma legar una copia de ese archivo a otra web desde la que se podría descargar sin coste; como el nuestro es un proyecto político que busca sustento material para seguir produciendo política, el hecho de que las descargas se produzcan desde otro sitio disminuye la posibilidad de que alguien, al descargarse uno de nuestros textos, acceda a otros contenidos de debate o a las citas de presentaciones, debates, proyeccciones, etc.
