An uncontrollable fire spreading on the premises poses a great threat. It puts at risk human health and life, as well as the property on site. For companies, a fire may result in downtime and the ensuing financial loss. Apart from rules and procedures introduced to minimize fire risk, building security should also involve mechanisms for the earliest possible fire detection. This would allow to put out the fire before it causes considerable damage. What you need is a fire warning system that detects fire at an early stage. More advanced solutions help to identify the exact spot of the fire and locate it on the map. Under the Polish Regulation of the Minister of Interior and Administration dated 21 April 2006 on fire protection of buildings, other facilities and sites (Journal of Laws as of 11 May 2006), some buildings come under special protection measures. It is compulsory that they have a fire warning system installed. This requirement applies especially to buildings used by large numbers of people.
