Nature and mountain farming as well as our traditional hospitality shape the valley. For over 25 years Villgrater Natur has been producing the „best of wool“ in the middle of this original natural and cultural landscape. Out of love for the valley the vision originated to turn the treasures of the remote region into a business idea. In harmony with nature, over time we developed a comprehensive product range for the areas building, sleeping and living. Our sheep are equally a part of the team as the employees in production and sales. Small and large travel groups are very welcome at our house. Prima le uova venivano nascoste senza cestello nel campo, poi è stato aggiunto il cestello (o anche: nido di Pasqua). Prontamente sono stati aggiunti nei nidi di Pasqua anche dei piccoli regali per aumentare ancora di più la gioia.

Pâques est évidemment synonyme de chasse aux œufs, qui ravit notamment les enfants. Le chocolat, les œufs colorés et le lapin de Pâques font partie des classiques. La tradition des cadeaux vient de la chasse aux œufs. Par le passé, les œufs étaient cachés sans corbeille dans un champs, puis la corbeille (ou: nid de Pâques / panier de Pâques) est apparue. Rapidement, on a également placé des petits cadeaux dans le panier de Pâques pour que la joie soit encore plus grande.

Manca poco, dopo quaranta giorni di quaresima la festa di Pasqua è alle porte. Assieme alle uova colorate e ai nidi si tiene anche il pranzo di Pasqua. Sul menu si trovano agnello, il classico arrosto d’oca e naturalmente anche il pane di Pasqua il quale, secondo una antica tradizione, viene mangiato per colazione e con il caffè il pomeriggio.

Maintaining the gardens adjacent to the houses (weeding, watering, transplanting, etc.). The farm is actively involved in the protection of animal biodiversity also with the construction of artificial nests, bird feeders and shelters for small wildlife, creating small ponds etc. In this sense it is working on testing a model of low-impact living which is respectful of other life forms.
