This church is made of stone with a slate roof. It is the most northerly church in Dalsland and lies beautifully on an island in the lake Västra Silen. The church owns the island and has done so since 1797. A wooden church from 1662 is the precursor. There is evidence of an even older church. This can be found at the State Museum of History and is a stave church plank from Vårvik, dating back to 1200. It is a pine wood plank with finely cut ornaments. Top class works of art from Dalsland. The altar is sturdily built and probably made with bricks on the bedrock. The date of the altarpiece is unknown, but it is very old and in extremely good condition. On the wall above the baptismal basin hangs a triptych made of nature stone made by Olga Aue-Birkfeldt. A candleholder stands under the triptychon made by Walter Moström from Bengtsfors. The inventory includes a baptismal basin, made of soapstone, with a drainage hole and a procession crucifix from Limoges, France (early 1200). In the church porch there is an old door from the 1600?s church. The congregation has Karl XII:s bible from 1703. A large- scale restoration took place in1976.

According to the Senator of the Interior of Berlin, Ehrhart Körting (SPD), violence of juveniles with a migration background has sharply increased. While the number of criminal offences committed by German juveniles would have been decreasing since 2005, the overall number of criminal offences had risen by 7 per cent. This was due to an increase of acts of violence committed by juveniles with migration background. A study of the Berlin "Federal State Commission against Violence" on the origin and motives of young criminals now focused on so-called "intensive offenders". The study findings revealed that the majority of the offenders were younger than 21 years, with 95 per cent of them being male and a total of 70 per cent having a migration background. The largest proportion is made up by male adolescents of Turkish and Arab origin. According to the study, the high propensity to violence is due to ongoing discrimination, the lack of future prospects and the wide-spread "Islamophobia", which would be all leading to integration deficits. Moreover, most of the intensive offenders would be from socially disadvantaged families. The Senator of Justice of Berlin, Gisela von der Aue (SPD), wants to encounter the problem by a stricter criminal prosecution and preventive measures: Accordingly, offenders should be penalised within shorter time and their families should bear more responsibility. Moreover, preventive measures needed to be introduced already at primary school level against the background that the propensity to violence sets in young ages already.

Bovendien hoeft de wandeling niet direct al te ver te zijn, omdat vanaf de eerste bergen van het Beierse Woud al de mooiste uitzichten te zien zijn met grandioze vergezichten over de Neder-Beierse rivierdalen, bv. op de Donau-panoramaroute.

The municipality of Heinfels comprises the localities of Panzendorf, Tessenberg, Schlossmühle, Heinfelsberg, Hinterheinfels, Blumaue, Obere Aue, Rabland and Gschwendt and is located at the entrance of the Villgraten Valley in the Upper Val Pusteria. Its name derives from Castle Heinfels, the emblem of the village. The older part of the castle lies at the highest point of the hill above Panzendorf, the western part added around 1500 is located slightly underneath. Also very worth to be visited in Heinfels is the Punbrugge bridge, one of the longest and most beautiful canopied wood bridges in Austria, dating back to the 18th century, as well as its three churches.

The L 614 starts at the B 1 in Blomberg, leads on to the B 329 to the west of Schieder and then runs via Lügde to the regional boundary of Lower Saxony at Bad Pyrmont. Owing to the medieval road cross-section in the town of Lügde the 13,120 vehicles per day that pass through this bottleneck make it an unacceptable Situation both for motorists as well as local residents. The choice of a route for the bypass was governed by the town's location in the densely built-up Emmer basin. Between the railway line, town and River Emmer only the floodplains were available for setting it up. However, as the Emmer regularly floods these plains the only possible solution was a tunnel with a gradient protected against flooding. The covered tunnel section is 512.5 m long. A RQ 10.5t tunnel cross- section was selected. The longitudinal gradient in the tunnel amounts to 0.2 % and the clear height 4.95 m. The overburden amounts up to 2 m. The tunnel section crosses a sports ground, a road bridge (K64) and the "little Emmer': The prevailing subsoil is mainly characterised by diluvial and alluvial deposits in the form of ballast, gravel and alluvial clay. In the southern section from the start of the ramp to roughly 140 m into the tunnel mixed grain and sandy fills are to be found at depths of up to 2 m below a thin layer of topsoil. Underneath there are fluvial and alluvial clays up to a depth of 3.9 m. ln addition mud, sapropel and peat were traced. A series of strata several metres thick comprising gravels and sands was encountered underneath. It consists of boulders, gravel and sand of various origins and formation. For instance red mottled sandstones, shelllime, keuper residues as well as quartzite boulders, cemented by silt grains were encountered. In the northern section of the route the topsoil covering is superimposed on extensive fills, which extend down to some 4.80 m below ground Ievel. These are located on the fluvial gravels also present in the southern sect ion, which in part contains a layer of mud. The groundwater is to be found close to the surface and correlates with the Emmer's water levels without any time delay. Owing to the described geological and hydrogeological conditions as well as the proximity to historic buildings that are susceptible to settlement a watertight excavation pit consisting of overlapping bore piles and an anchored underwater concrete floor were created. The pit was divided up into 7 individual sections with lengths varying from 30.5 t
