You have to be able to sell your work to support an operation such as I have set up. Because you don’t make things to sell, and yet you make things to sell. Ça me permettrait de continuer mon opération pendant un mois, alors que dois-je faire? Je dois vendre, mais je ne compromets pas mes oeuvres pour les vendre, parce que je sais fondamentalement que la meilleure façon de vendre ses oeuvres est de ne pas se compromettre. Si vous compromettez votre art, les gens n’achèteront pas, c’est une simple question d’affaires.

The 12th Francophonie Summit took place in a context of financial and food crises. It was marked by several innovations: four themes instead of one, a shorter declaration containing strong and specific commitments, and a new formula with four environmental round tables that allowed heads of state and government to engage in discussions within a narrower framework, a first for La Francophonie. Heads of state and government expressed their support for the initiative to hold a global summit on the financial crisis and the reform of the international economic system. They also pointed out that the financial crisis should not overshadow the food crisis and be resolved at the expense of developing countries.

A dog clutch in the rear gear unit disconnects the drive to the rear wheels. This means the crown wheel, the pinion shaft and the prop shaft all stop moving and thus don’t generate any drag losses.

This is the first book on freshwater fish and crustacean species found on Réunion Island. It is intended for naturalists, researchers, teachers or fishermen. It has been drawn up as a tool for administrators in charge of management and conservation of aquatic communities. The main features of the various aquatic habitats on Réunion are presented in the first part of the book, together with the species found in these habitats. Then comes the history of local ichthyology and species introductions, followed by the catalogue of all species found on the island, with 25 fish species and 10 decapod crustacean species. For each one, a data sheet gives a description of the animal, a commentary on its biology and ecology, as well as its distribution with a detailed map. Original photographs or drawings illustrate the species, and easy to use identification keys will help with species differentiation.
