En 2010, il tourne Une Oasis sur la Colline, webdocumentaire de la série Portraits d’un Nouveau Monde, produite par Narrative et diffusée sur france5.fr. Il fut primé aux Lovie Awards. En 2011, il produit et coréalise 80 ans, connectés !, un webdocumentaire dressant le portrait de trois octogénaires faisant usage des technologies web et de tablettes numériques.

Igal Kohen directed his first documentary film, Votim Mama, in Papua New Guinea in 2007. In 2009, he wrote stories for the online press before founding Piw!, his production company with which he initiated several series of short documentaries for the internet. In 2010, he shot An Oasis on the Hill, a web documentary, which is part of the Portraits of a New World series, produced by Narrative and broadcasted on france5.fr. The film was awarded with the Lovie Awards. In 2011, he produced and co-directed 80 Years Old online!, a web documentary telling the story of three octogenarians using web technologies and tablets. In 2012, he directed and produced The Other Election, an election story of the end of the world, broadcasted on the French media websites, such as Rue89, lepoint.fr, courrierinternational.fr, franceinter.com, with the support of CNC and Grand Prix Gilles Jacquier 2013. Igal Kohen currently produces commercials and documentaries for the web and television.
