Hasta se ha pensado en un modo de aclimatación para las plantas acuáticas, ya que la iluminación LED es más intensa en comparación con los tubos fluorescentes.

Fino ad oggi le LED sono state utilizzate soltanto nel settore tecnico o in casa. Lo spettro luminoso per le piante acquatiche diverge molto da quello in casa o da quello delle torce a LED. Difatti va considerata la zona di radiazione fotosinteticamente attiva, detta PAR (Photosynthetic Active Radiation) e uno spettro totale che racchiuda TUTTE le gradazioni di luce visibile. Soltanto considerando queste due componenti si è potuto produrre la luce perfetta per le piante d'acquario!

Fast growing species especially need a lot of CO2, and red fish species need CO2 fertilisation to survive. JBL has developed a new and elegant permanent test for the CO2 content which also indicates the pH value, so that each aquarium owner knows how much CO2 is in the aquarium water.

En utilisant un troisième réactif, le service Recherche et Développement de JBL a réussi à augmenter sensiblement la précision de ce test et en remplaçant les tons de beige par des tons d’orange et de rouge, à grandement faciliter le relevé des couleurs et à le rendre plus clair. Le test JBL O2 affiche rapidement et avec précision des taux d’oxygène entre >0,2 et 10 mg/l. Pour différencier nettement le nouveau test de l’ancien, l’appellation « NEW FORMULA » a été adjointe à son nom. Pour utiliser les nouvelles recharges JBL de réactifs O2 (3 réactifs au lieu de 2 jusqu’ici), il faudra aussi se procurer les nouveaux nuanciers correspondants (tons de rouge au lieu de beige) pour la comparaison des couleurs.

TETRA est arrivé deuxième et SERA troisième. Ce concours est organisé pour la douzième fois par Média & Jardin Groupe pour son magazine Animal Distribution. L'ensemble des distributeurs et grossistes du marché animalier français participe à ce concours et vote. Fin juillet, le trophée a été remis à JBL au cours d'une grande soirée festive organisée sur la Seine, au pied de la Tour Eifel. JBL est très fier de cette distinction particulière et la dédie à toute l'équipe de vente en France, ainsi que, bien sûr, au service Recherche et Développement JBL, responsable de la qualité exceptionnelle des produits d'alimentation destinés à l'aquariophilie et aux bassins.

Tetra wurde Zweiter und sera Dritter. Die Challenge wird zum zwölften Mal von der Média & Jardin Groupe J und seiner Zeitschrift Animal Distribution organisiert. Der gesamte Zoofachhandel und Zoofachgroßhandel Frankreichs beteiligen sich am Wettbewerb und stimmen ab. Ende Juli wurde der Pokal in großer Abendveranstaltung beim Eifelturm auf der Seine an JBL überreicht. JBL ist sehr stolz auf diese sehr besondere Auszeichnung und widmet sie dem ganzen französischen JBL Verkaufsteam, seinen Vertriebspartnern in Frankreich und natürlich auch der JBL Forschungs- und Entwicklungsabteilung, die für die sehr hohe Qualität der JBL Aquarien- und Teichfutter verantwortlich ist.

Beides sind aber keine „strengen“ Biotop-Aquarien, da die eingesetzten Pflanzen nicht aus dem jeweiligen Biotop oder sogar Kontinent stammen. Hier wurde einfach nach optischen oder zum Wassertyp passenden Gesichtspunkten ausgesucht. Auch die Fische sind nicht exakt aus einem Biotop. Le piante sono state selezionate secondo il loro aspetto e l'adattabilità al tipo d'acqua. Anche i pesci non provengono esattamente dallo stesso biotopo. Vivono originariamente nella stessa regione. Però si possono considerare entrambi gli acquari come acquari di biotopo.

Por eso, JBL ha desarrollado Ferropol Root («raíz» en inglés), una pastilla nueva de fertilizante concentrado que se aconseja introducir 1 vez al mes en la zona de las raíces de las plantas de acuario.

Per questo motivo JBL ha sviluppato Ferropol Root (radice in inglese), una nuova compressa di concime concentrato, che va spinta una volta al mese nella zona delle radici delle piante acquatiche. In particolare in alcuni generi di piante, quelle che assumono la maggior parte dei nutrienti attraverso le radici, l’incremento della crescita è notevole. Tra queste piante sono Echinodorus, Cryptocoryne, Vallisneria, Crinum e Nymphea. Dei generi di piante che assumono i nutrienti non solo attraverso le radici ma anche tramite le foglie fanno parte: Ludwigia, Limnophila, Hygrophila, Alternanthera e Cabomba. Le compresse sono inoltre concepite per piante in acquari con illuminazione a LED e che hanno quindi un fabbisogno di nutrienti elevato dato il forte illuminamento. Una confezione di JBL Ferro Root contiene 30 compresse di concime concentrato.
