I cannot imagine how people lived before the invention of the computer, I am convinced that I was born in the right century! My name is Daniel Griza, I am sixteen years old and Edelweiss Foundation’s ambassador. This year I have got the maximum score and the first place at Republican Computer Science Olympiad. I have also brought home several gold and silver medals from national and international competitions. But I am very proud of the medal won at Clock Tower School Romania 2012 contest, where I competed with dedicated IT teams from countries such as Indonesia, the Philippines, Bulgaria, Romania, which are much more developed in training for Olympics in IT.

What fascinates him more is the endlessness of the self-appointed task, in a state of dissolution and approaching the inexhaustible.

Pierino Forni (1919-2005) is a “villese”, who has made Ticinese and Luganese football great. He started out his career in FC Lugano, when still very young and during the 1940-1941 season won the LNA Swiss Championship. In the course of the 1942-43 season, he participated in the Swiss Cup final against the Grasshoppers (lost two goals to one), a final that was played at Bern’s Wankdorf stadium in front of 18'000 spectators. Forni ended his career as forward some seasons later, wearing the Chiasso jersey.

Trust also plays a key role when the buyer of Yavuzsoy's lined paper drawings has to promise the artist to give them to anyone else who, upon seeing them, says they would also like to have one: a generous act in which Yavuzsoy calls the circulation of art goods into question. Since 2004, he has been creating the lined sheets of paper that strictly adhere to the DIN (German industry standard) norm of industrially manufactured writing paper. The artist draws his straight lines on white paper on an almost daily basis-freehand, but with an underlying "model" to go by-until the pencil he is using is depleted. The resulting drawing is the product of a machine-like virtuosity, without ever quite being able to attain to the industrial norm. But Yavuzsoy explains that he is not concerned with the idea of artist as machine: "People can always see that the paper is drawn by hand." What fascinates him more is the endlessness of the self-appointed task, in a state of dissolution and approaching the inexhaustible.

Not that we would in all seriousness believe in fateful encounters, but the story behind our first photo shoot with Daniel definitively has something to do with good karma. Don't worry, we won't bore you with excessive background information, but so much has been said. With his enthusiasm for natural lighting conditions and a perfect eye for genuinely emotional moments (not to mention his weakness for expressive appearances on the dance floor), Daniel is the photographic personification of the Jaz philosophy and therefore, from day one, a member of the family. The same of course applies for Peach, Daniel's top model, best camera assistant ever and exemplary bulldog.

Niet dat wij serieus geloven in door het lot bestemde ontmoetingen, maar het verhaal achter onze eerste fotoshoot met Daniel heeft absoluut iets met goed karma te maken. Wees niet bang, we zullen u niet vervelen met overdreven veel achtergrondinformatie, maar we willen wel het volgende kwijt: dankzij zijn passie voor reële lichtomstandigheden en een perfect oog voor emotionele momenten (om nog maar te zwijgen over zijn zwak voor expressieve dancefloor-optredens) is Daniel de fotografische personificatie van de Jaz-filosofie en daardoor eigenlijk vanaf dag één lid van onze familie. Hetzelfde geldt natuurlijk voor Peach, topmodel, beste camera-assistente en voorbeeldige buldog van beroep.
