We don't see this trend reversing itself. In fact, it's getting worse. As a provider of services and monetization for users, advertisers and publishers on the Internet, we feel a responsibility to be proactive about these issues. We've outlined a set of principles we believe our industry should adopt. We aim to follow these guidelines ourselves with the applications we distribute. And because we strongly believe these principles are good for the industry and users worldwide, we encourage our current and prospective business partners to adopt them as well. These guidelines are, by necessity, broad. Software creation and distribution are complex and the technology is continuously evolving. As a result, some useful applications may not comply entirely with these principles and some deceptive practices may not be addressed here. This document is only a start, and focuses on the areas of Internet software and advertising. These guidelines need to be continually updated to keep pace with ever-changing technology.

Und wir haben nicht den Eindruck, dass es besser wird. Im Gegenteil, diese Entwicklung nimmt leider immer mehr zu. Daher gibt es eventuell nützliche Anwendungen, die diesen Prinzipien nicht voll und ganz entsprechen, während andererseits bestimmte betrügerische Geschäftspraktiken unter Umständen nicht angesprochen werden. Dieses Dokument stellt eine erste Anregung dar und behandelt im Wesentlichen die Bereiche Internet-Software und -Werbung. Um mit der ständigen Weiterentwicklung der Technologie Schritt zu halten, müssen die Richtlinien kontinuierlich aktualisiert werden.

Nezdá se, že by tento trend ustupoval. Situace se naopak horší. Vzhledem k tomu, že uživatelům, inzerentům a majitelům stránek na internetu poskytujeme služby a umožňujeme zpeněžení obsahu, chceme se těmto problémům postavit čelem. Pro začátek jsme stanovili soubor zásad, které by se podle nás měly v našem oboru zavést. Tato pravidla chceme sami dodržovat v aplikacích, které distribuujeme. A protože jsme pevně přesvědčeni, že pravidla přinesou užitek oboru i uživatelům po celém světě, vynasnažíme se přesvědčit naše současné i budoucí obchodní partnery, aby je zavedli také. Tyto pokyny jsou nutně obsáhlé. Tvorba a distribuce softwaru je složitý proces a technologie se neustále vyvíjí. Proto je možné, že některé užitečné aplikace nebudou pravidla zcela splňovat a naopak zde nemusí být některé podvodné praktiky zmíněny. Tento dokument je jen začátek. Zaměřuje se na oblasti internetového softwaru a reklamy. Pravidla je třeba pravidelně aktualizovat, aby bylo možné udržel krok s technologickým vývojem.
