The Day After - WU Vienna
After we’ve entered the market in Vienna we want to establish ‘The Day After’ in other Austrian cities (e.g. Graz and Linz). We pursue to make arrangements with grocery markets and facility services in Vienna, as we want to offer our customers a variety of food and a reliable cleaning service.
The main goal is to establish our service in Vienna. Furthermore, we will conduct social media efforts and guerilla marketing to raise awareness.

As mentioned above, the long-term goal is to become a software as a service provider automating and facilitating influencer marketing campaigns. In this phase, the goal is to perfect the process from identifying and approaching targeted influencers to executing the campaign at the highest level of quality.

China continues to play a pivotal role in both Africa and Latin America as a trade partner, investment facilitator and financial backer. China is now Africa’s single biggest trading partner, and Chinese foreign direct investment (FDI) into Latin America between 2010 and 2015 has been estimated at a substantial US$84bn. But China’s slowdown has weakened its import demand growth and contributed to a sharp fall in global commodity prices. Both Africa and Latin America, which run large trade deficits with China as they export mostly commodities and import higher value-added consumer goods, have taken a significant economic hit. How, then, will China’s relationship with both regions evolve in the years ahead in view of the instability and uncertainty caused by its economic rebalancing act? The report from The Economist Intelligence Unit assesses the opportunities for deeper relations between China, and its African and Latin American partners. LINK

Key challenge within the field of MRM is the willingness of employees to work from multiple locations and use various kinds of mobile devices to schedule meetings or book a meeting room. Working environments and eating habits are changing within meeting room management and employee dining. Research indicates that employees are demanding more mobility, flexibility and customization. Key challenge within the field of MRM is the willingness of employees to work from multiple locations and use various kinds of mobile devices to schedule meetings or book a meeting room. Automatic room booking and cancelling systems as well as digital signage were identified as promising technological solutions to cope with these challenges. In the field of employee dining, it was established that employees are increasingly interested in fresh, organic, or vegetarian food while demanding transparent information about the ingredients and nutritive value of their meal in order to stay fit and healthy.   Milch+ – Revolutionary ...
Most schools are already being served and the number of pupils is decreasing. As all facilities for processing milk and delivering products are in place, these farmers seek to sell more milk directly.
School milk farmers currently face a big problem: their market is declining. Most schools are already being served and the number of pupils is decreasing. As all facilities for processing milk and delivering products are in place, these farmers seek to sell more milk directly. Due to a lack of capacity and market knowledge, they have problems developing products and opening up new sales channels. At the same time, an increasing number of consumers value fresh and natural food. Time constraints, however, force them to compromise between honest food and convenience.
  The evolving role of Ch...
The report from The Economist Intelligence Unit assesses the opportunities for deeper relations between China, and its African and Latin American partners.LINK
  MYOKraft - a fitness ce...
If local sports clubs have fitness equipment with low member fee, they might constitute competition as well, but we suppose that we will convince most elderly due to our tailored services. Local physiotherapists, can be competition but also facilitators, if we manage to collaborate with them.
People of the age 55+ make up 31% (20,4 Mio) of the population in the D-A-CH Region of 98,2 Mio. Of those live 18,6 Mio. in agglomerations of at least 50k inhabitants. The targeted membership price is 60 € per month or respectively 720€ per year, resulting in a market potential of 13,4 € Billion. We see some competition in the gym chain Kieser Training. However, they focus on big cities, large locations and on clients 35+. In addition, some elderly might favour gyms where a lot of young people are. If local sports clubs have fitness equipment with low member fee, they might constitute competition as well, but we suppose that we will convince most elderly due to our tailored services. Local physiotherapists, can be competition but also facilitators, if we manage to collaborate with them. Joining forces can be mutually beneficial for both parties when it comes to building up and maintaining a strong customer base.

The responsibilities of the Gender Policy staff unit include advising the Rector’s Council on measures for promoting equal opportunities and gender equality at WU, developing concepts for the implementation of such measures, and evaluating the steps taken.
