Cilji nagrade so opredelitev in priznanje uspešnih dejavnosti in pobud za spodbujanje podjetij in podjetništva, predstavitev in širitev primerov najboljših podjetniških politik in praks, večja ozaveščenost o vlogi podjetnikov v evropski družbi ter spodbujanje in navdihovanje potencialnih podjetnikov.
Depuis 2006, le prix européen de la promotion de l’esprit d’entreprise récompense l’excellence dans la promotion de l’entrepreneuriat et des petites entreprises au niveau national, régional et local. Depuis que ce prix existe, plus de 2500 projets ont été présentés: au total, ceux-ci ont favorisé la création d’un nombre d’entreprises largement supérieur à 10 000. Le prix a pour objectifs d’identifier et de mettre en avant les activités et initiatives fructueuses visant à promouvoir les entreprises et l’esprit d’entreprise, de présenter et de partager des exemples de bonnes politiques et pratiques entrepreneuriales, de faire mieux connaître le rôle joué par les entrepreneurs dans la société européenne et enfin d’encourager et d’inspirer les entrepreneurs potentiels.

Sinds 2006 worden de Europese Awards voor Ondernemerschapsbevordering toegekend aan uitmuntende projecten ter bevordering van het ondernemerschap en kleine ondernemingen op nationaal, regionaal en lokaal niveau. Sinds de awards voor het eerst werden georganiseerd, hebben al meer dan 2 500 projecten deelgenomen, die samen hebben bijgedragen tot de oprichting van meer dan 10 000 nieuwe bedrijven. Od roku 2006 se za vynikající výsledky v podpoře podnikání a malých podniků na vnitrostátní, regionální a místní úrovni udělují Evropské podnikatelské ceny za podporu podnikání. Soutěže se od zahájení zúčastnilo více než 2 500 projektů, které podpořily vytvoření celkem více než 10 000 podniků. Cílem soutěže je identifikovat a oceňovat úspěšné činnosti a iniciativy zaměřené na podporu podniků a podnikání, propagovat a sdílet příklady osvědčených politik a postupů v oblasti podnikání, zlepšit povědomí o úloze, kterou podnikatelé v evropské společnosti sehrávají, a podpořit a inspirovat potenciální podnikatele.
Siden 2006 har den europæiske pris til fremme af iværksættere belønnet flotte resultater inden for fremme af iværksætterkultur og små virksomheder på nationalt, regionalt og lokalt plan. Eurooppalainen yrittäjyyden edistämispalkinto on myönnetty vuodesta 2006 lähtien menestyksestä yrittäjyyden ja pienyritystoiminnan edistämisessä kansallisella, alueellisella ja paikallisella tasolla. Kilpailuun on osallistunut sen olemassaolon aikana yli 2 500 hanketta, jotka ovat yhdessä tukeneet yli 10 000 uuden yrityksen perustamista. Kilpailun tavoitteena on kartoittaa ja tunnistaa onnistuneita toimia ja aloitteita, joilla tuetaan yrityksiä ja yrittäjyyttä, esitellä ja levittää parhaita toimintatapoja ja käytäntöjä yrittäjyyden alalla, lisätä tietoisuutta yrittäjien merkityksestä eurooppalaisessa yhteiskunnassa sekä kannustaa ja inspiroida tulevia yrittäjiä.
Az „Európai Vállalkozásösztönzői Díj” 2006 óta jutalmazza a vállalkozói szellem, illetve a kisvállalkozások népszerűsítésében országos, regionális és helyi szinten nyújtott kimagasló teljesítményt. Europejskie Nagrody Promocji Przedsiębiorczości przyznawane są od 2006 r. za szczególne osiągnięcia w dziedzinie promowania przedsiębiorczości oraz małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw na szczeblu krajowym, regionalnym i lokalnym. Do udziału w konkursie zgłoszono dotychczas ponad 2,5 tys. projektów, za sprawą których powstało w sumie ponad 10 tys. nowych przedsiębiorstw. Celem konkursu jest wyłonienie i promowanie inicjatyw skutecznie wspierających przedsiębiorstwa i przedsiębiorczość, prezentowanie najlepszych rozwiązań w dziedzinie przedsiębiorczości, informowanie szerokiego ogółu o znaczeniu przedsiębiorców dla gospodarki i społeczeństwa oraz motywowanie potencjalnych przedsiębiorców do rozpoczęcia działalności.
Premiile de promovare a întreprinderilor europene recompensează, începând din 2006, excelența în promovarea antreprenoriatului și a întreprinderilor mici la nivel național regional sau local. De la lansarea premiilor, au fost prezentate peste 2 500 de proiecte care, împreună, au contribuit la crearea a peste 10 000 de societăți noi. Sedan 2006 har Europeiska utmärkelsen för främjande av företagande belönat framgångsrika projekt som främjar entreprenörskap och småföretagande på nationell, regional och lokal nivå. Drygt 2 500 projekt har deltagit sedan starten och tillsammans har de bidragit till över 10 000 nya företag. Med priset vill EU hitta framgångsrika sätt och initiativ som främjar företagande och entreprenörskap och visa upp och sprida exempel på bra metoder och strategier för entreprenörskap.
