Passer devant la gendarmerie du village, puis en contrebas de la D39 suivre une petite route qui devient un bon sentier. Par un lacet, rejoindre la D39 à proximité de la chapelle Saint-Maure. Se diriger vers le sud ( à gauche) pour prendre la route d'Auron (D39) sur 200 m.

Markings in red and white all along this stage. Pass in front of the village police station and then below the D39 to follow a little road that turns into a well-built path. At a hairpin bend, join the D39 close to the Saint-Maure chapel. Head to the south (left) to take the Auron road (D39) for 200m. Take a stairway to the right and head uphill into the forest. Walk past a wayside shrine and after numerous bends, the trail arrives at the little pass (1,665m) situated on the edge of the Auron plateau. Take a road (Chemin de Demandols) to reach Auron at 1,602m in altitude. Follow the ski lift pylons of the Riou to cross it. Stay below the D389, pass below the cable of the Las Donnas ski lift and then in front of a chalet and a fountain (the last waterhole before the Roya area). Head eastward, circumventing the golf course and take the rapidly climbing path. Cross a little pass (marker 12) and follow a well-built path first on a level course and then passing Belvédère des Chamois. An uphill course of hairpin bends leads to a forest track that must be followed to the east. Leave this track on the right to take a well-built path and climb to the Blainon pass (2,011m). Descend on the southern slope of the pass. Walk past a shepherd’s hut (1,922m) and then the ruins of the Saint Sébastien chapel (1,795m), from where the trail descends to the little Lugière valley, which must be crossed. Descend to the left and, after the Salle barns, you will reach a Calvary and then a fountain before reaching Roya (1,500m).

Die gesamte Etappe ist weiß-rot markiert. An der Gendarmerie des Dorfes vorbei geht es unterhalb der D 39 auf einer kleinen Straße entlang, die später zu einem guten Weg wird. Bei einer Kurve gelangt man wieder auf die D 39 in Nähe der Kapelle Saint-Maure. Nun wendet man sich nach links (Süden) und spaziert 200 m weit auf der Straße nach Auron (D 39). Rechts steigt man über eine Stiege in den Wald hinein auf, kommt an einem Oratorium vorbei und erreicht nach zahlreichen Serpentinen den kleinen Sattel (1665 m) am Rand des Auron-Plateaus. Über eine Straße (Demandols) erreicht man Auron auf 1602 m Höhe. Hier folgt man den Stützen des Schilifts von Riou und überquert ihn. Man bleibt unterhalb der D 389, wandert unter dem Kabel der Las Donnas Seilbahn und an einem Haus und einem Brunnen vorbei (letzte Wasserstelle vor dem Ortsrand von Roya). Man hält sich östlich, umgeht den Golfplatz und nimmt den sehr steil aufsteigenden Weg. Über einen Hügel (Markierung 12) erreicht man einen guten Weg, der zuerst auf der selben Höhe und danach an einem Aussichtspunkt der Gemsen vorbei führt. Aufsteigend erreicht man in Schlangenlinien einen Waldweg, dem man nach Osten folgt und den man rechts zugunsten eines guten Steigs verlässt, der auf den Blainon-Sattel (2011 m) führt. Anschließend geht es auf dem Südhang rechts talwärts zuerst an einer Schäferei (1922 m) und dann an den Überresten der Kapelle Saint-Sébastien (zum Heiligen Sebastian, 1795 m) vorbei. Von hier wandert man in das kleine Lugière-Tal, das man queren muss. Es geht links hinunter und nach den Scheunen von la Salle gelangt man zu einem Kalvarienberg, dann zu einem Brunnen und schließlich nach Roya (1500 m).

Segnavia bianchi e rossi lungo tutta la tappa. Passare davanti alla gendarmeria del villaggio, poi, in basso rispetto alla D39, seguire una stradina che diventa poi un bel sentiero. Tramite un tornante, raggiungere la D39 nei pressi della cappella di Saint-Maure (San Mauro). Dirigersi verso sud (a sinistra) per percorrere la strada di Auron (D39) per 200 m. Prendere a destra una scala e salire nel bosco. Passare davanti a un oratorio e, dopo numerosi tornanti, arrivare al colletto (1665 m) situato al limitare dell’altopiano di Auron. Seguendo una strada (strada di Demandols) si raggiunge Auron, a 1602 m di altitudine. Seguire i piloni dello ski-lift di Riou per attraversarlo. Restare in basso rispetto alla D389, passare sotto al cavo della funivia di Las Donnas, poi davanti a una baita e a una fontana (ultimo rifornimento d’acqua prima dei dintorni di Roya). Dirigersi verso est aggirando il campo da golf e prendere la ripida salita. Superare un piccolo colletto (segnavia 12) e seguire un bel sentiero, all’inizio in piano, e poi passare al belvedere dei camosci. Salire lungo dei tornanti raggiungere una pista forestale da imboccare verso est. Lasciarla sulla destra per prendere un bel sentiero e salire al colle del Blainon (2011m). Scendere sul versante sud del colle. Passare presso un ovile (1922 m), poi presso le rovine della cappella di Saint- Sébastien (San Sebastiano) (1795 m) dalla quale si scende nel vallone della Lugière, che deve essere attraversato. Scendere a sinistra e, dopo i fienili di La Salle, raggiungere un “calvaire” (stazione del Calvario), poi una fontana e arrivare a Roya (1500m).
