Gomion liegt zwischen St. Leonhard und Moos und gehört zur Gemeinde St. Leonhard in Passeier. In der Ortschaft mit ihren 110 Einwohnern besticht vor allem der Schildhof Gomion, einer der im Passeiertal erhalten gebliebenen Höfe von in den Adelsstand promovierten Bauern, die sich im Mittelalter durch Dienste Privilegien verdient haben.

Gomion is located between San Leonardo and Moso and belongs to the municipality of San Leonardo in Passiria. The village has got some 110 inhabitants, its main attraction is the Gomion Shield Farm, one of the ancient typical farmsteads of the Val Passiria.

L’orgoglio di questo piccolo paese, che conta all’incirca 110 abitanti, è il Maso degli Scudieri Gomion, una delle residenze nobiliari simili a castelli che si contraddistinguono tra le case in legno della Val Passiria. In tempi passati il Maso degli Scudieri era anche noto come Garmian e Camion.
