Sehr bekannt und darum auch als “Persönlichkeit” akzeptiert ist ein Mann, den wir alle nur als Mumie kennen. Das klingt zwar makaber, dieser Mensch zieht aber trotzdem Tausende von Besuchern an. Der Mann vom Hauslabjoch ist eine Gletschermumie, die im September 1991 beim Tisenjoch nahe dem Hauslabjoch oberhalb des Niederjochferner in 3.210 m Höhe gefunden wurde.

Famous all over the world and thus a true “celebrity” is a man, we only know as a body. This might sound a bit strange, but nevertheless he attracts thousands of visitors every year. Ötzi is actually a well-preserved natural mummy, whose remains emerged from a melting glacier in the Ötztal Alps in September 1991. Experts estimate he died some 5,300 years ago and might thus be Europe’s oldest natural mummy ever. He got his name from the place he was found in, the sparkling white Oetztal Alps.

Di fama internazionale ed una vera e propria celebrità è un uomo, di cui conosciamo soltanto il suo cadavere. Può sembrare macabro si, ma quest’uomo ogni anno attira migliaia di visitatori. Si tratta dell’uomo del Similaun, la mummia scoperta casualmente nel settembre 1991 nei ghiacci tra il Giogo di Tisa e l’Hauslabjoch nelle Alpi dell’Oetztal a 3.210 m s.l.m. La mummia, riemersa da un sonno glaciale di 5.300 anni, fu subito soprannominata con simpatia “Oetzi”, dal nome della valle che confina con il luogo del suo ritrovamento. Secondo gli esperti il cadavere risale al periodo neolitico o meglio all’età del rame.
