The parliament speaker underlined that, within its autumn session, the parliament would pay priority attention to the strategy of SIS’ reformation and an action plan for its implementation. Igor Corman reiterated the support of the parliament for the reformation of the Security and Intelligence Service. The speaker urged the SIS officers to be pro-active in enforcing the strategy and propose legislative initiatives to improve the present legislative framework. Igor Corman also referred to the complexity of the reform on SIS’ modernisation, stressing that it is necessary that the authorities join efforts to have a modern, European-level service.
