Ensiesityksen jälkeen teos on kiertänyt eri puolilla maailmaa New Yorkista Amsterdamiin ja se on saanut kriitikoilta innostuneen vastaanoton.

Each year, Pro Arte Foundation Finland invites an internationally recognized visual artist or group of artists to make a temporary work of art, the IHME Project, in public space. The way the IHME Project is to be carried out, along with its form and location, are jointly determined by the Foundation and the selected artist. The annual IHME Festival offers also lectures, films, workshops, as well as discussions of the IHME Project themes together with the artist. Free admission to all events.

(2013) will be exhibited at the Old Student House during the IHME Days. The film deals with the 19th century’s scientific racism of the scientist Louis Agassiz, whose ideology can be traced right up to the Nazis’ racial theories. In the fictitious lecture, Agassiz performed by the actor Thomas Götz, attempts to vindicate himself and his theories. The scripts is written by the Agassiz scholar Hans Barth from Freiburg, Switzerland.

In the workshop the young people deal with the positive or negative experiences connected to their cultural identity. The artwork is realized using a metal staple technique familiar from Sasha Huber’s previous works and sleeve badges designed by the participants, which are attached to wooden panels. The workshop sessions are held at the Kannelmäki Youth Centre during a three-week period, starting from 29 January 2014.
