"the PLAY" ist in roten Lettern auf der provisorischen Konstruktion zu lesen. So heißt auch die Künstlergruppe, die mit dieser Aktion ein Zeichen setzen will - gegen die Vergötterung von Technik, territoriale Expansion und gegen einen individualistischen Lebensstil. Ihre gemeinschaftlichen Aktionen, an denen sich die Zuschauer beteiligen können, realisiert "the PLAY" - "das Spiel" - bevorzugt im Außenraum. Eventuelle Relikte werden danach zerstört, denn ihre "Anti-Kunst" ist nicht käuflich. "Ich möchte nicht mehr länger Objekte herstellen", erklärte Keiichi Ikemizu, eines der wichtigsten Mitglieder der Gruppe."Was mich interessiert, sind die Erfahrungen und Empfindungen der Teilnehmer der Aktionen."
