Mónica Pardo es hidrogeóloga con 22 años de experiencia en hidrogeología, hidroquímica e isótopos, evaluación de fuentes, estrategias medioambientales y derechos de agua, se une a Knight Piesold como Líder del Área de Recursos Hídricos en Enero de 2017, a cargo del grupo de hidrología, hidrogeología e hidroquímica.

Prior to joining Knight Piésold, she worked in similar positions at other consultancies, providing water resources and environmental services for the mining sector. She worked as a senior hydrogeologist in Andina Division, Codelco-Chile, in charge of strategy design for the control of tailings water seepage infiltrations from the facility, leading the technical development of the conceptual model of the tailings dam-aquifer system and its mathematical modeling, and the design of control measures to provide solutions for these seepage infiltrations. She also headed the Water Resources Conservation and Protection Department at the Chilean Government’s General Water Administration (DGA).
