« Même si ce n’est pas notre voiture qui a coupé la ligne la première, nous avons tout de même gagné et c’est le principal. Loïc (Duval), Allan (McNish) et Tom (Kristensen) ont fait du bon boulot durant toute la semaine. Ils ont fait la pole, ils ont bien géré leur course et ils méritent leur victoire. L’an passé, Loïc et ses équipiers d’alors, Romain Dumas et Marc Gené, avaient été les plus rapides, mais les circonstances de course avaient fait que… Cette année, c’est le scénario inverse qui s’est produit. Je suis content pour Loïc qui tient sa première victoire dans la Sarthe ; pour Allan qui s’investit beaucoup dans le team et qui a souvent été malchanceux ces dernières années et pour Tom, bien sûr, qui bosse aussi comme un fou et qui n’a pas eu une année facile avec le décès de son père et la perte d’un ami. Cela m’a fait plaisir de les voir sur le podium des 24 Heures. »

“Though it was not our car that crossed the finish line first Audi have still won and that’s what matters. Loïc, Allan and Tom did a great job throughout the week, setting pole position and managing their race perfectly on the way to a deserved victory. 12 months ago Loïc and his team-mates (Romain Dumas and Marc Gené) had the fastest car, but circumstances prevented them from fighting for the victory. This year it was the opposite and I am happy for him to have secured his first win at La Sarthe. Allan meanwhile has given a great deal to this team and has been quite unlucky in recent years, while Tom works like crazy and has not had an easy time of late following the death of his father and the loss of a friend on Sunday. I was happy for all three following their victory.”
