Joachim Koschnicke works in the Corporate Affairs & Public Strategies Practice in the Berlin office. He focuses on advising companies in strategic stakeholder communications and especially on how to position themselves and advocate their interests in the political sphere. Before Joachim joined Hering Schuppener in 2018 he consulted Chancellor Merkel as Head of Strategic Planning and Strategic Communications during the federal election in 2017 – as he did from 2005 to 2011. From 2013 to 2017 he joinend General Motors Europe / Opel&Vauxhall as Vice President Public Policy & Industry Strategy. From 2011 to 2013 he was Managing Director with a German company specialized on opinion surveys in the political & commercial & media enviroment. Joachim started his carreer with Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances as Inhouse Consultant of the Boards Strategic Planning Unit. Joachim studied Business and joined Executive Trainigs with Insead and Stanford in Measuring Coperate Performance and Transformational Leaderhip. He is Founder and Member of the board of the NGO InCharge and Member of the Advisory Board of the Berlin based Quadriga University.
