En aquesta primera edició, la temàtica se centrarà en la Llum a les ciències de la vida i la salut, i comptarà amb professors i investigadors de renom, procedents de les més prestigioses institucions a nivell mundial, entre ells, el premi Nobel el professor Andre Geim (Nobel de Física el 2010 pel seu treball sobre el grafè, un nou material, extremadament prim i resistent que, com a conductor de l'electricitat, es comporta com el coure, i com a conductor de calor, supera qualsevol altre material conegut), i també amb presidents d'empreses científiques amb reputació internacional.
