Ona mi je uvijek doista pomagala. Prije početka studija teologije trebao sam završiti dodatno školovanje i imao sam velikih poteškoća. Došao sam u Međugorje i rekao sam: «Gospe, ako zaista želiš da budem svećenik, pomozi mi da se pripremim za sjemenište».

The dear departed Fr. Slavko Barbaric is my greatest example. When I felt the call to the priesthood, I got anxious about it, and this is why I am coming every year. Each time, I entrust to Our Lady the coming year, and I tell her: “Mother, help me!” And she has really always helped me. Before beginning my studies of theology, I had to complete my secondary education, and I had great difficulties. I came to Medjugorje and I said: “Our Lady, if you really want me to be a priest, help me to prepare for the seminary.” A year later, I came to Medjugorje with excellent results of the exams that I had to pass in order to study theology. Our Lady gave me the strength to study and to overcome all the difficulties, and I am forever grateful.

Il defunto fra Slavko Barbarić per me è esempio di vita. Quando ho sentito la chiamata al sacerdozio, mi sono impaurito e per questo vengo ogni anno. Ogni volta affido alla Gospa l’anno che mi sta davanti e le dico: “Madre, aiutami!”. Lei veramente mi ha sempre aiutato. Prima di iniziare a studiare Teologia, dovevo finire la scuola e avevo grandi difficoltà. Sono venuto a Medjugorje e ho detto: “Gospa se davvero vuoi che io diventi sacerdote, aiutami a prepararmi per il seminario”. L’anno dopo sono venuto a Medjugorje con risultati molto alti degli esami che dovevo sostenere per potermi iscrivere a Teologia. Quindi, la Gospa mi ha dato la forza di affrontare e superare tutte le difficoltà e per questo le sono sempre grato.
