”What does normality mean? What does family mean, as tradition and value, in a country in which the number of abused children - within the family - exceeds tens of thousands annually? Romania is on the last place in Europe concerning the ability to empathise. We cannot put ourselves in another person's shoes, nobody teaches us how to do that, how to understand and analyse situations from completely different perspectives. A majority cannot establish social rules and principles that would breach the rights and the dignity of a minority, no matter what minority it is. I want to believe that there is still time for dialogue, to ask ourselves questions and not to impose points of view to ourselves, even if, unfortunately, the Romanian society systematically fails possible chances of emancipation”, says
