The amount of energy wasted reaches 4 billion dollars compared to current oil prices. Turkey loses approximately 4 billion dollars every year due to the fact that energy conservation is not taken into account in the construction of old buildings used for housing.

Türkiye tükettiği enerjinin yaklaşık yüzde 13’ünü tasarruf edebilecek potansiyele sahipken kaybettiği enerji küçümsenmeyecek boyutlarda. Havaya uçurduğumuz enerjinin bedeli, günümüz petrol fiyatlarıyla karşılaştırıldığında 4 milyar doları buluyor. Türkiye her yıl yaklaşık 4 milyar doları konut olarak kullanılan eski binaların inşasında enerji tasarrufunun göz önüne alınmaması sebebiyle kaybediyor.

"Loose milk, when under boiled, does not kill many of the germs, however, when over boiled, it loses many important nutrients such as vitamins B, C, and folic acid. Pasteurization and sterilization (Ultra-high temperature processing-UHT) are considered as heat treatment processes. They create the minimum change in the natural, biological, and nutritional values of the milk, and make the milk safe in terms of microbiology. Therefore, pasteurized and UHT milks have more nutrients than boiled milks, and can be consumed safely."

İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Öğretim Üyesi Yavuz Selim Süral, ağrı kesici ve ateş düşürücü etkisi olmamasına rağmen hemen hemen her hastalık sırasında antibiyotik kullanıldığını belirterek, “Özellikle Türkiye’de direnç gelişimine en sık neden olan etken bilinçsiz ve reçetesiz antibiyotik kullanımıdır. Hemen hemen her hastalık sırasında antibiyotik kullanılması vücut direncinin ülkemizde dünya ortalamasının üstünde görülmesine sebep oluyor. Eğer mikroplar bir antibiyotiğe karşı direnç kazanırlarsa, artık o antibiyotiğin o mikroba karşı etkisi olmaz. Bu nedenle her bakteriye uygun olan antibiyotik kullanılmalıdır” dedi.

“We don’t know this rate. But, it may continue until current deficit gets less than 5 % of GDP. Considering that this rate is about 7% now, we might have to wait until Turkish Lira loses a little more value for a sustainable current deficit. However, since the economy management does not provide clear explanations on this issue, it’s early to say anything right now. What the economy management does not consider is the danger of dollarization. Turkey, entering a rapid dollarization process after the 80’s, got rid of this illness hardly. The re-entry of this virus into economy may cause uncontrollable outcomes in the future.”
