Apart from these regulations, there is also a minimum requirement students must meet to keep their mobility grant. Students who fail to meet the minimum requirements will have to repay their mobility grant. Students must earn at least 3 ECTS credits per month or complete substantial work on a bachelor, master, or doctoral/PhD thesis, as confirmed by their thesis supervisor.

More marginal topics such as critique of capitalism, Christian-inspired charity, or the welfare state are found to have less mobilizing potential. In a further step, the researchers explore discursive mechanisms by which articulations of social entrepreneurship unleash their power of attraction.

Die Stärkung der internationalen Mobilität von WU-Wissenschafter/inne/n ist eine wesentliche Voraussetzung sowohl für deren eigene akademische Laufbahn als auch für die Positionierung der WU im internationalen Umfeld.
Strengthening the international mobility of WU researchers is of crucial importance, both for the individual researchers’ academic careers and WU’s international position. Working environments and eating habits are changing within meeting room management and employee dining. Research indicates that employees are demanding more mobility, flexibility and customization.
Working environments and eating habits are changing within meeting room management and employee dining. Research indicates that employees are demanding more mobility, flexibility and customization. Key challenge within the field of MRM is the willingness of employees to work from multiple locations and use various kinds of mobile devices to schedule meetings or book a meeting room. At the same time, facility managers seek to increase room utilization and improve time management. Automatic room booking and cancelling systems as well as digital signage were identified as promising technological solutions to cope with these challenges. In the field of employee dining, it was established that employees are increasingly interested in fresh, organic, or vegetarian food while demanding transparent information about the ingredients and nutritive value of their meal in order to stay fit and healthy. As a response to this need, a concept of a mobile application to aid users in achieving a healthy lifestyle was developed by the project team.

Governments will need to address productivity and drive growth by focusing on six priorities emerging from this research: mobilize more domestic resources; aggressively diversify economies; accelerate infrastructure development; deepen regional integration; create tomorrow’s talent; and ensure healthy urbanization.
The fundamentals across the whole continent are strong, and long-term growth projections are good. The region is expected to enjoy the fastest urbanization of any region in the world, and to have a larger workforce than either India or China by 2034. Despite recent shocks and challenges, Africa’s household consumption and business spending are both growing strongly, offering companies a $5.6 trillion opportunity by 2025. However, Africa’s manufacturing sector today underperforms those of other emerging economies – output could expand to nearly $1 trillion in 2025 if Africa’s manufacturers were to produce more to meet domestic demand from consumers and businesses, and work with governments to address factors hindering their ability to produce and export goods. To achieve this potential will require Africa’s companies to step up their performance. Africa is home to 700 companies with revenue of more than $500 million per year, including 400 with revenue above $1 billion. However, the region has a relatively small number of large companies. It needs more. Governments will need to address productivity and drive growth by focusing on six priorities emerging from this research: mobilize more domestic resources; aggressively diversify economies; accelerate infrastructure development; deepen regional integration; create tomorrow’s talent; and ensure healthy urbanization. This agenda will require a step change in the quality of African leadership and governance, and active collaboration between the public and private sectors. LINK
