In Moos in Passeier befindet sich ein Bauwerk aus Stein und Glas. Es ist ein besonderes Museum, das Einblick in einen von Diktator Mussolini gebauten Bunker gibt. Er hatte ihn bauen lassen, um die Alpenpässe im Passeiertal vor einem möglichen deutschen Angriff schützen zu können.

In the village of Moso in Passiria Valley, a building made out of glass and stone can be found. This building is a special museum, a museum that offers a unique view into the bunkers that were built by Mussolini during the Second World War. The bunkers were built in Passiera Valley to protect the Alpine passes against a possible German invasion. In this bunker museum, visitors can also learn not only about the history but also about the nature found in the valley. Visitors can also get surprisingly close to the Ibexes that live on the grounds.

A Moso, nell’alta Val Passiria, svetta una costruzione in roccia e vetro: qui un museo molto particolare cela interessanti sorprese: da un lato l’emozionante contatto ravvicinato con il re delle rocce, lo stambecco; dall’altra le profondità della terra, dove tre metri sotto la roccia Mussolini fece realizzare un bunker in difesa dei Passi alpini della Val Passiria, temendo un’invasione tedesca. Un bunker che oggi non ci racconta solo di un periodo buio della storia recente, ma anche la storia più antica e la natura di questa bellissima valle.
