The buildings immortalized in his photography are often new symbols of the surrounding public space - meeting places for the local community and tourists by and large attracted by the unique architecture. Many of them were created in previously undeveloped, degraded or forgotten areas, sometimes in the Centre of the city, giving them a new meaning and a second life. Shots made form publicly available to every passerby perspective encourage viewers to visit these places. Revealing the nature of the surrounding space, they discover the beauty and complexity of modern architecture. Photography of architecture designed by world-renowned studios is published not only in professional journals and worldwide book publications, but is also widely available in internet. Wojtek‘s adventure with photography of architecture began in the UK and during his trip to Spain, where he visited - among others - pavilions of Expo 2008 in Saragossa. He had visited several popular and courageous European buildings before he discovered contemporary architecture of Australia. In China, he managed to capture several dozens of national pavilions during Expo 2010 in Shanghai. A year later he took photos in new residential areas of Copenhagen and Madrid. He’s also had the opportunity to follow the architectural route of vineyards of La Rioja. Last year, he extensively photographed colorful Dutch architecture such as in the newly formed residential area of IJburg in Amsterdam - built on six artificial islands. Taken by him photo-shots of architecture were presented in both: group and individual photo exhibitions, among others, in the Centre for Architecture / AIA New York Chapter and the Virginia Centre for Architecture in the United States, as well as in the Royal Institute of British Architects hub in the UK and others in Sweden, Switzerland and Poland.
