Before we enter Šipčanik, you will have a chance to enjoy the view to the entire vineyard. Šipčanik was an underground aircraft hangar of the Yugoslav Army until the 1990s. In 2007 it was reconstructed and converted into a wine cave by the Plantaže company.
The Croatian delegation noticed that the mentioned statement could have also been signed by Slobodan Milošević himself, and they requested from the Serbian delegates that the statement (in case they wanted their text to be included in the agenda as a proposition to the declaration at all) should mention the fact that “war has never been waged in Serbia and Montenegro, that neither a single window has been smashed nor a single square meter of their territory attacked while, on the other hand - Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina didn’t want the war. They suffered the aggression (and in Bosnia there is still a war on) of the so-called Yugoslav Army and Serbian paramilitary units which were armed by the said Army”.

He also received after his retirement in 1996 an appointment in the Republika Srpska as adviser to the Crisis Management Group of the Yugoslav army, where he remained until his final retirement in the year 2002.

Moreover, the country was in a state of war with the Yugoslav army and Serbian paramilitary units that lasted for years, during which not only entire sections of population were displaced, but the development of democratic structures was blocked by the growing authority of the military and security forces.

After 1988, a political as well as an economic crisis brought about changes to the Slovene constitution, which led to the plebiscite in December 1990 when a huge majority of citizens (90%) voted in favour of independence. On 25 June 1991 Slovenia declared its independence, which was followed by a ten-day war a failed attempt by the Yugoslav army to prevent the separation of Slovenia from the former state.
During 17th and 18th centuries the territory of Slovenia underwent various social and economical changes under the rule of Maria Theresa and Joseph II. For a brief period of time the rule of the Habsburgs was interrupted namely between 1809 and 1813, when Napoleon established Illyrian Provinces and made Ljubljana their capital.

After this statement I stood up and in the name of Serbian Army I declared: "Since the war trophy was handed over to the local council, I leave it to the local council to operate with it; concerning the fact that Yugoslav Army and Navy has already put themselves under the command of the Serbian Army and the Serbian commander. Therefore I have nothing to do with it anymore."

The Yugoslav army, interestingly enough, did not participate but adhered to its constitutional duty to protect the borders of the country, and only in that regard did it encounter the UCK, when the latter attempted to infiltrate fighters and weapons into Kosovo from neighbouring countries.

He took us to the river Neretva. At the other side, there was the Yugoslav Army, having the weapons of an army at its disposition. While we were standing there, a rocket flew towards Capljina… We could only count the number of times they shot towards us.

The E.E.C. kept on condemning the warring sides, hoping to wash its hands and save Yugoslavia as a multinational state, which could be used to further their own aims. James Baker, the Prime Minister of the Bush administration, even permitted the Yugoslav army to attack Slovenia.
No, zbog svojih osobnih interesa to nije učinio.
EEZ osądzała jedynie walczące strony, chcąc umyć ręce i uratować Jugosławię - państwo wielonarodowościowe, by móc wykorzystywać to do swoich celów. James Baker pierwszy minister w rządzie Busha zezwolił nawet, by wojsko Jugosłowiańskie napadło na Słowenię.
