At the parliament, the recruitment procedure for interpreters is very strict, and the standards are the highest in the world. "Interpreters have to master a huge range of subjects without being experts. Anna Grzybowska es la jefa de la "Cabina polaca" y también es responsable de las misiones en el extranjero del grupo de intérpretes que llegó en el momento de la ampliación a diez países en el año 2003. Pokaždé, když do Evropského parlamentu vstupuje nová země, hledají se noví kvalitní tlumočníci v prostředí univerzit, tlumočnických škol nebo mezi učiteli jazyka. Anna Grzybowska je vedoucí „polské kabiny“ a má rovněž na starost zahraniční výjezdy týmu tlumočníků, kteří přišli v roce 2003 v rámci rozšiřování Unie o deset nových zemí. Přístup Polska a devíti dalších států (České republiky, Estonska, Lotyšska, Kypru, Litvy, Maďarska, Malty, Slovinska a Slovenska) znamenal pro tento živý organismus, jakým je Evropský parlament, jakýsi přechod do adolescentního věku. Víme dobře, že pro rodiče není toto období nikdy jednoduché. Je mi líto, že někteří mohli být zklamáni, očekávání bylo možná příliš veliké. Je hodně věcí, které nejsou v moci Evropského parlamentu, které jsou výsadou pouze jednotlivých členských států“.
