Der Prüfer hat stets das Datum anzugeben, an dem die Webseite aufgerufen wurde. Bei der Anführung von Internet-Offenbarungen sollte er die Relevanz des Dokuments als Stand der Technik erläutern, also beispielsweise angeben, wie und wo er auf das Veröffentlichungsdatum gestoßen ist (z. B. dass die acht Ziffern in der URL das Archivierungsdatum im Format JJJJMMTT darstellen), und auch sonstige relevante Informationen nennen (z. B. bei Anführung von zwei oder mehr miteinander verbundenen Dokumenten, inwiefern diese zusammenhängen, beispielsweise dass man über den Link "xyz" im ersten Dokument zum zweiten Dokument gelangt).
