Isus reče svojim učenicima: «Sve, dakle, što želite da ljudi vama čine, činite i vi njima. To je, doista, Zakon i Proroci. Uđite na uska vrata! Jer široka su vrata i prostran put koji vodi u propast i mnogo ih je koji njime idu. O kako su uska vrata i tijesan put koji vodi u Život i malo ih je koji ga nalaze!» (Mt 7, 12)

Jesus said to his disciples: “Do to others whatever you would have them do to you. This is the law and the prophets. Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. How narrow is the gate and constricted the road that leads to life. And those who find it are few.” (Mt 7,12-14)

Jésus les enseignait en disant : « Tout ce que vous voulez que les hommes fassent pour vous, faites-le vous-mêmes pour eux : voilà la Loi et les Prophètes. Entrez par la porte étroite. Large, en effet, et spacieux est le chemin qui mène à la perdition, et il en est beaucoup qui s’y engagent ; mais étroite est la porte et resserré le chemin qui mène à la Vie, et il en est peu qui le trouvent. » (Mt 7,12-14)

Jesus sagte zu seinen Jüngern: „Alles, was ihr also von den anderen erwartet, das tut auch ihnen! Darin besteht das Gesetz und die Propheten. Geht durch das enge Tor! Denn das Tor ist weit, das ins Verderben führt, und der Weg dahin ist breit, und viele gehen auf ihm. Aber das Tor, das zum Leben führt, ist eng, und der Weg dahin ist schmal, und nur wenige finden ihn.“ (Mt 7, 12-14)

Jesús dijo a sus discípulos: Traten a los demás como ustedes quieren que ellos lo traten. En esto se resumen la ley y los profetas. Entren por la puerta estrecha; porque ancha es la puerta y amplio el camino que conduce a la perdición, y son muchos los que entran por él. Pero ¡qué estrecha es la puerta y qué angosto el camino que conduce a la vida, y qué pocos son los que lo encuentran! (Mateo 7,12-14)

Gesù disse ai suoi discepoli: “Tutto quanto volete che gli uomini facciano a voi, anche voi fatelo a loro: questa infatti è la Legge ed i Profeti. Entrate per la porta stretta, perché larga è la porta e spaziosa la via che conduce alla perdizione, e molti sono quelli che entrano per essa; quanto stretta invece è la porta e angusta la via che conduce alla vita, e quanto pochi sono quelli che la trovano!”. (Mt 7, 12-14)

Jezus rzekł do swoich uczniów: Wszystko więc, co byście chcieli, żeby wam ludzie czynili, i wy im czyńcie! Albowiem na tym polega Prawo i Prorocy. Wchodźcie przez ciasną bramę! Bo szeroka jest brama i przestronna ta droga, która prowadzi do zguby, a wielu jest takich, którzy przez nią wchodzą. Jakże ciasna jest brama i wąska droga, która prowadzi do życia, a mało jest takich, którzy ją znajdują!” (Mt 7, 12-14)
