Frans van Deursen (1962) is acteur, zanger, schrijver en vertaler, en hij leerde dat allemaal door het te doen. Bekend van tv-series als In de Vlaamsche Pot, Voetbalvrouwen, en La Famiglia. En hij stond in theaterproducties als Miss Saigon, Aida, The Blues Brothers en Ciske de Rat.

Frans van Deursen (1962) is an autodidact actor, singer, writer and storyteller. Well known from TV series like: In de Vlaamsche Pot, Voetbalvrouwen, and La Famiglia. And theatre productions such as: Miss Saigon, Aida, The Blues Brothers and Ciske de Rat. He has a broad repertoire of songs by Ramses Shaffy, Frank Zappa and Harry Bannink. He created the rock-opera Harry Faust, translated Soldaat van Oranje and De Producers and released the CD’s Scherven van een Leeggedronken Nacht, (with his own translations of Tom Waits) and De Vogel in Mijn Borst (where he sang songs based on the poems of Leo Vroman).
