Le Comité d'Art Sacré du Cardinal Jean-Marie Lustiger choisit sa sculpture « Christ d’Aleray » pour orner la première église construite à Paris depuis un siècle, Notre Dame de l’Arche de l’Alliance. En 1989, le ministère de la culture française lui commande Prométhée, un bas-relief en marbre (dimensions 7mx3m), pour la Haute école d'art Le Parc à St-Maur-Des-Fossés.

Roberto Tagliazucchi, sculptor, was born in Carrara. In 1980 he moved to Paris where he began his artistic career, taking part in important exhibitions such as the “Salone d’Automne” and “Réalités Nouvelles”. In 1986 he won the contract to decorate the new church of Cergy-St-Christophe and then in 1988 he was in charge of the decoration of the church Villeneuve-Le-Roi. His sculpture, Christ d’Aleray, was selected by the Archbishop of Paris,Cardinal J.M. Lustiger’s commission of religious art to be installed in the first church built in Paris for a century, Notre Dame de L’Arche de l’Alliance. In 1989 he was commissioned by the French Ministry for Culture to produce “Prometheus”, a marble bas-relief (7 x 3 metres) for the artistic high school, Le Parc, in St-Maur-Des-Fosses. Another of his monumental sculptures stands in the town hall of Evry (1991). In 2002, Tagliazucchi received a special mention for his work “Non Uccidere”, inspired by the events of 11 September, at the international competition “Il nuovo linguaggio delle trasparenze” in Brescia, Italy. In 2003, he won the contest for a sculpture at the hospital Santa Chiara in Trento with his work, “Maternità”. In 2004 the council of Pordenone bought his model, “Arciere”, for the decoration of its new headquarters and then in 2006 he carried out a fresco “les acrobats du cirque du soleil” (6 x 3 metres) for the suburb of Saint-Mandé (Paris). He has collaborated with the architect Stanislas FISZER as well as with the Roma studio of architecture and Constantin architects in Paris. His works have been acquired by the St Maur Museum in Paris and he also has sculptures on display at the Bibliothèque National de Paris as well as in numerous other important private collections both in Europe and the United States.

Roberto Tagliazucchi scultore, nato a Carrara. Nel 1980 inizio la mia attività artistica a Parigi dove mi distinguo in manifestazioni storiche come il Salon d’Automne e Réalités Nouvelle. Nel 1986, su concorso dei Chantier du Cardinal, vinco e realizzo la decorazione delle nuove chiese di Cergy-St-Christophe e Villeneuve –Le-Roi. Per Notre Dame de l’Arche de l’Alliance, la prima chiesa edificata a Parigi dopo un secolo, sono prescelto dalla comissione d'arte sacra del CardinaleJ.M. Lustiger per realizzare il mio Christ d’Aleray, poi mai realizzato in seguito a divergenze con l'architetto Roubin . Nel 1989, su commissione del Ministero della Cultura francese, eseguo Prométhée, bassorilievo di marmo (metri 7x3), per il liceo d’indirizzo artistico Le Parc a St-Maur-Des-Fosses. Una mia scultura monumentale è presente nel Comune di Evry (91). Menzione speciale al concorso internazionale “ Il nuovo linguaggio delle trasparenze” a Brescia (Italia) con l’opera “Non uccidere” ispirata al 11 Settembre. Ho vinto un concorso per un’opera per l’ospedale “Santa Chiara” di Trento con “Maternità”; la provincia di Pordenone ha acquistato un mio bozzetto presentato in concorso per la decorazione della nuova sede, “Arciere”; per il comune di Sant-Mandè (Paris) ho eseguito l’affresco “les acrobats du cinque du soleil” (6mtx3). Ho collaborato con l'architetto Stanislas FISZER, lo studio d'architettura "Roma" e e lo studio "Costantin architects" di Parigi. Mie opere sono state acquisite dal Museo di St-Maur e sono presenti alla Bibliothèque National de Paris, come in importanti collezioni pubbliche e private in Europa e negli Stati Uniti.
