Tarea de cada artista es recobrar a alguien de estas páginas y en el caso de Battista Brevigliero tal operación aparece rica e interesante. La lección de la pintura del humanismo con las llamadas a los adultos, cuál Botticelli, da a sus cuadros sin tiempo, el no ser del tiempo como dimensión universalizzante. La metafísica, fácil pensar en ¡De Chirico!, se convierte en instrumento de geometría con la abundancia de arcos, elipsis, cuadrados: la naturaleza es un libro matemático que lleva al infinito y en efecto sus cuadros a menudo tienen una notable profundidad. Central es la gran lección del surrealismo del novecientos que garantiza con sus símbolos, la mujer y el caballo sobre todo, aquella miembro fundamental del arte que es lo fantástico, en este caso en su dimensión más marcadamente onírica. Por fin la lección del realismo en Battista Brevigliero es equipaje técnico, es decir acercamiento cromático capaz de suscitar emociones y, por algunos aspectos, provocaciones. Los colorado y el azul sobresalen como manchas de una historia, aquel del arte, que es trabajo individual justo porque hunde sus raíces en el trabajo de los adultos del pasado.

Our hike starts slightly below, at Furnacia, where also the trail “Roda de Armentara” starts. After a one-hours’ walk across the forest we arrive at the blossoming Armentara pastures. From a geological point of view, these meadows are located in the west end of the Fanes-Senes-Braies nature park. If you wonder how the striking mountain peaks in the background are called: Sass dles Diesc and Sasso Croce.

The work of Isa Melsheimer (*1968 Neuss, DE) explores places and architecture in a variety of media, often combining and re-contextualising unsophisticated material. Her installations, in which she encircles spaces in lengths of taut thread, are as likely to feature concrete, plants, yarn and textiles as they are to use wood, metal or a mattress and always evolve into commentaries on our everyday reality, as well as on architectural and social utopias, and dystopia. Gebäude (Brandwand) [Building (firewall)] visibly comprises nothing more than a concrete block, which appears to be lying randomly on the ground. The shape of the cuboid is unusual. There are protruding corners and edges, possibly representing rooms in an imaginary house. Hovering somewhere between solidity and hollowness, Gebäude (Brandwand) has the appearance of a random building block left lying around – or an architectural site.

Dans une œuvre ayant recours à de multiples moyens d’expressions, Isa Melsheimer (*1968 Neuss, DE) s’intéresse à des lieux et à des architectures. Elle travaille volontiers avec des matériaux simples qu’elle recontextualise et qu’elle combine à sa guise. On retrouve dans ses installations du béton, des plantes, du fil, de l’étoffe, aussi bien que du bois, du métal ou un matelas ; mais elle fait aussi naître des espaces entiers parcourus de fils de coton tendus. Ce sont à chaque fois des commentaires sur la réalité dans laquelle nous vivons, sur des utopies et des dystopies architecturales et sociales. La seule chose qu’on voit de Gebäude (Brandwand) (litt. bâtiment (mur aveugle)), c’est un bloc de béton qui semble posé par terre un peu par hasard. La forme du bloc est inhabituelle. Il s’y découpe des angles et des rebords qui pourraient représenter des espaces fonctionnels dans une maison qu’il nous incomberait d’imaginer. Corps plein ou corps creux, Gebäude (Brandwand) fait penser à une pierre de taille abandonnée… - ou à un site architectural.

Enseignant d'une remarquable clarté, il a su imprégner ses cours d'un humour légendaire.

On both sides of the hall the sections form comblike structures which house the MPs' offices and create courtyards enclosed on three sides on the longitudinal flanks of the building. Eight cylinders structures the full height of the building penetrate the comb structure in such a way that half of them protrude into the hall and the other half into the courtyards. Their distinctive round shape indicates their use: this is where the committee rooms are located. The round shape of the eight cylinders is accentuated by dedicated lighting. Recesses between the bottom edge of the gallery ceilings and the cylinder walls house curving light coves which bathe the walls in a soft light from above and visually detach the galleries from the cylinders through rings of light.

Caterina e i donatori Andrea Borgo e Dorotea Thun), Altobello Melone (Simonino), Girolamo Romanino (Madonna con Bambino e santi; Visitazione, frammento delle ante d’organo già in Santa Maria Maggiore), Jacob Seisenegger (Le figlie di re Ferdinando I d’Asburgo) Giovanni Battista Moroni (Annunciazione), Paolo Farinati (pala d’altare commissionata dai Madruzzo). Il Seicento comprende opere di Pietro Ricchi, Alessandro Turchi, Francesco Maffei, Pietro Liberi, Carl Loth, Andrea Pozzo e del pittore fiemmese Giuseppe Alberti. Fra i dipinti del Settecento spiccano quelli della cosiddetta “Scuola di Fiemme”, tra cui Francesco, Michelangelo e Cristoforo Unterperger, quelli di Francesco Fontebasso e di Giambettino Cignaroli. Molto significativa è la sezione dei dipinti di Giovanni Battista Lampi il Vecchio (1751-1830) ritrattista fra i più importanti dell’età neoclassica.

I sørøst tårner Desertas Islands – ubebodde klippeøyer, hjemmet til sjeldne fugler og den nesten utdødde munkeselen – seg tydelig mot horisonten. I sørvest skimrer Madeira i sin fuktige dis, eller på klare dager virker den nær nok til å berøre. Under strekker Porto Santos storslåtte strender seg i mange kilometer.
