The program of Babel Film Festival also contributes to a comparison with the universes of music and theater – for longer than cinema they included a wealth of minority languages - but also television, which is opening up more and more to the possibilities of communicating in a different way, a more focused one, a way centered on the needs and desires of a restricted community, giving it back its freedom of speech.

In questo senso il Festival offre a tutti gli autori, sia di documentari sia di fiction, la possibilità di dare visibilità e forza espressiva alle lingue, per favorire un reale confronto e scambio culturale tra le popolazioni di tutto il mondo. Il programma del Babel Film Festival contribuisce anche ad un confronto con gli universi della musica e del teatro – che da più tempo rispetto al cinema hanno compreso la ricchezza delle lingue minoritarie –, ma anche della televisione, che si sta aprendo sempre di più alle possibilità di comunicare in un modo diverso, mirato, centrato sui bisogni e i desideri di una comunità ristretta a cui restituisce il diritto di voce.

Meetings: With the current committee structure, 10 of the 18 public appointees must serve on 2 statutory committees while the remaining 8 serve on one; a public appointee is also required to serve on the Board of Inquiry. Public appointees may also serve on 1 of 2 standing committees (Finance, Election and Appointments). The Council meets quarterly for 1 or 2 days, depending on the agenda. Most statutory committees meet monthly or every 2 months. Discipline and Fitness to Practise hearings are held as needed. The duration of meetings ranges from half-days to several consecutive days.

Le Conseil se réunit tous les trimestres pendant une ou deux journées, selon l'ordre du jour. La plupart des comités prévus par la loi se réunissent tous les mois ou les deux mois. Les audiences portant sur des questions de discipline et d'aptitude professionnelle se tiennent au besoin. Les réunions peuvent durer de une demi-journée à plusieurs journées consécutives.
