Maurice a fait part de son expérience concernant l’allocation des ressources en ligne associée à des indicateurs de performance clés (KPI), ce qui a offert aux fonctionnaires sénégalais et autres participants beaucoup d’éléments dont ils pourraient tenir compte dans le cadre de leur réforme respective de l'éducation.

Nos últimos anos poucas agências tomaram passos para sistematicamente identificarem lacunas específicas nos dados do gênero que os países e institutos nacionais de estatísticas deviam focar-se nelas para melhorar políticas direccionadas às mulheres. A Inter-Agência das Nações Unidas sobre Estatísticas do Gênero (IAEG-GS) compilou um “conjunto mínimo” de 52 indicadores quantitativos para estatísticas do gênero e dividiu-os em três filas, de acordo com a sua claridade conceitual, padrões internacionais e produção regular. a IAEG-GS continua a desenvolver e propor modificações destes indicadores bem como as suas classificações, e um certo número de agências internacionais estão a introduzir variantes do conjunto mínimo. Isto inclui a ONU-Mulher que, como parte do quadro de desenvolvimento do pós-2015 apresentou um conjunto de propostas de indicadores sobre o empoderamento da mulher em Junho de 2013. Através do projecto Evidência e Dados para a Igualidade do Gênero (EDGE), UNSD e a ONU Mulher também colaboram na elaboração de directrizes metodológicas para recolher dados sobre activos físicos e financeiros desagregados por sexo; o mesmo exercício será feito para o empreendedorismo. Data 2X, uma iniciativa lançada em 2012 no âmbito da parceria entre a Fundação William e Flora, Fundação das Nações Unidas, o Governo Norte Americano, tentam identificar e propor formas de resolver lacunas de dados em políticas relevantes.
