This route will enable you to discover the entire north-eastern area of Catalonia, for some the prettiest and richest in the country thanks to its contrasts, with an incredible natural heritage that combines sea and mountains. From our base located at the emblematic Circuit de Catalunya, you will head for the coast over the Montnegre i el Corredor Natural Park before enjoying the unique landscape of Maresme, where the slopes of its mountains look down over great expanses of cropland and vineyards facing the sea. You will follow the coastline to the Costa Brava, flying over Blanes, Lloret de Mar, Tossa de Mar, Sant Feliu de Guíxols and Platja d’Aro, eminently tourist towns, among wonderful Mediterranean countryside with large cliffs, pine forests and spectacular coves. You will reach Palamós, which is home to one of the most important fishing ports in the Mediterranean. Continue to Cap de Sant Sebastià and Cap de Begur before reaching the Medes Isles, one of the most important protected areas of nature in the Mediterranean due to its large marine flora and fauna reserve. You will continue towards the Gulf of Roses, declared by UNESCO as one of the most beautiful bays in the world, after having first enjoyed the trip to l’Escala, flying alongside the virgin, abrupt Montgrí mountain. Continue flying over the Gulf of Roses until you reach Cap de Creus heading for the Sant Pere de Rodes Monastery, a large monastic site in pre-Romanesque, Romanesque and Gothic style. It is formed by the church, the cloister and the different monastic quarters scattered around it. It was built on the northern slope of the Verdera mountain, from where you are given a wonderful view over the north of Cap de Creus and, more especially, over the bays of Port de la Selva and Llançà.
