Ora la strada faceva una leggera curva sulla sinistra, piegava appena e poi, sulla destra, subito ripartiva: la bianca parete di una grande villa rimandava una luce accecante mentre, dall’altra parte, la roccia, ora umida in qualche punto e ricoperta dai lunghi filamenti delle edere, dava un po’ di refrigerio ai due viaggiatori.

The warehouse has dark cladding, while the main volume is bright and shiny, with large glazed walls running along the façades and sizeable sections of light-coloured, polished metal panels that frame the elevations horizontally, almost embracing them with clear figurative overtones.

L'architettura definisce due grandi volumi che si uniscono nella nuova sede, il corpo ad un piano destinato a magazzino e deposito, sul lato sud-ovest del complesso, e la parte principale, a due piani ed orientata a sud-est, in cui si assommano le funzioni amministrative e direzionali. Non solo le dimensioni provvedono a differenziare i due corpi contigui: l'uno, il deposito, si presenta con rivestimento a coloritura scura, mentre il volume principale si mostra con brillantezza e luminosità, nel dispiego delle grandi vetrate che corrono lungo i prospetti e nello sviluppo di ampie porzioni di facciata in lastre metalliche chiare e rilucenti, che incorniciano i prospetti in senso orizzontale, con una dinamica avvolgente e di forte connotazione anche di tipo figurativo.

Trust also plays a key role when the buyer of Yavuzsoy's lined paper drawings has to promise the artist to give them to anyone else who, upon seeing them, says they would also like to have one: a generous act in which Yavuzsoy calls the circulation of art goods into question. Since 2004, he has been creating the lined sheets of paper that strictly adhere to the DIN (German industry standard) norm of industrially manufactured writing paper. The artist draws his straight lines on white paper on an almost daily basis-freehand, but with an underlying "model" to go by-until the pencil he is using is depleted. The resulting drawing is the product of a machine-like virtuosity, without ever quite being able to attain to the industrial norm. But Yavuzsoy explains that he is not concerned with the idea of artist as machine: "People can always see that the paper is drawn by hand." What fascinates him more is the endlessness of the self-appointed task, in a state of dissolution and approaching the inexhaustible.

Vertrauen spielt auch dann eine zentrale Rolle, wenn der Käufer von Yavuzsoys Briefpapier-Zeichnungen dem Künstler versprechen muss, sie an jeden weiterzuverschenken, der bei ihrem Anblick äußert, auch ein Exemplar besitzen zu wollen. Ein generöser Akt, mit dem Yavuzsoy den Warenkreislauf der Kunst in Frage stellt. Seit 2004 produziert er jene linierten Blätter, die sich streng an die DIN-Norm von industriell hergestelltem Briefpapier anlehnen. Fast täglich zieht der Künstler freihändig, jedoch mit einem unterliegenden "Model" gerade Linien über weiße Blätter - solange bis sich der von ihm benutzte Stift erschöpft hat. Das Ergebnis ist eine Zeichnung, die das Ergebnis einer maschinenartigen Virtuosität ist, ohne die industrielle Norm je ganz erreichen zu können. Um den Künstler als Maschine gehe es ihm hierbei jedoch nicht, erklärt Yavuzsoy: "Man wird immer erkennen, dass das Blatt von Hand gezeichnet ist." Was ihn hingegen fasziniert, ist die Endlosigkeit der selbst gewählten Aufgabe "die in sich gelöst", also tendenziell unerschöpflich ist.

The program of Babel Film Festival also contributes to a comparison with the universes of music and theater – for longer than cinema they included a wealth of minority languages - but also television, which is opening up more and more to the possibilities of communicating in a different way, a more focused one, a way centered on the needs and desires of a restricted community, giving it back its freedom of speech.

Aixirivall Fountain: like in many other villages in Andorra, Aixirivall has some public drinking water fountains. The first is the Aixirivall one, a fountain in the centre of the village popularly known as the “fountain of the village”, in which there are two dates engraved: 1877 (probably the date of construction) and 1958 (moment in which the Comú (local government) carried out improvement works). Just by the side, if you cross a wooden door, you can reach a small covered well, popularly known as “el pou”. Originally, when there was no running water, this was the place where people picked up water and washed their clothes.

En aquesta font hi ha gravades dues dates: 1877 (segurament la data de construcció) i 1958 (moment en què el Comú va realitzar obres de millora). Just al costat, si es creua una porta de fusta, s'arriba fins a una petita bassa coberta, popularment coneguda com “el pou”. Originàriament, quan encara no hi havia aigua corrent, aquest era el lloc on la gent recollia aigua i netejava la roba.
