Ousa fazer justiça e ser grande o suficiente para demonstrar misericórdia. Obriga a tua natureza mais baixa a obedecer a tua natureza mais elevada, como tu obedeces aos teus superiores. Reverencia a bondade e exalta a verdade. Escolha o belo em lugar do feio. Ama os teus semelhantes e busca a Deus com plenitude de coração, pois Deus é o teu Pai no céu”.

132:4.3 (1461.1) In this manner, during the sojourn in Rome, Jesus personally came into affectionate and uplifting contact with upward of five hundred mortals of the realm. He thus gained a knowledge of the different races of mankind which he could never have acquired in Jerusalem and hardly even in Alexandria. He always regarded this six months as one of the richest and most informative of any like period of his earth life.

Riverisci la bontà ed esalta la verità. Scegli il bello al posto del laido. Ama il tuo prossimo e cerca Dio con tutto il tuo cuore, perché Dio è tuo Padre nei cieli.”

(1459.4) 132:3.4 Разкритата истина – индивидуално откритата истина, е висша наслада за човешката душа; такава истина е съвместно творение на материалния разум и пребиваващия в човека дух. Вечното спасение на тази разбираща истината и любяща красотата душа се гарантира от жаждата за добродетели, която води този смъртен към единството на целта – да изпълни волята на Отеца, да намери Бога и да стане такъв, какъвто е Той. Между истинското знание и истината никога няма противоречия. Противоречието е възможно между знанието и човешките вярвания – вярванията, които са украсени с предразсъдъци, изкривени от страх и подчинени на смъртната боязън от сблъсъка с новите факти на материалните открития или духовния прогрес.

132:3.3 Inimene kaldub teadust kristalliseerima, filosoofiat formuleerima ja tõde dogmatiseerima, sest ta meel on laisk kohanema järjestikuste eluheitlustega ning samuti tunneb ta kohutavat hirmu tundmatu ees. Inimesele on omane, et ta algatab muutusi oma mõttelaadis ja eluviisides väga aeglaselt.
