Während Ethereum eine sehr interessante Technologie und neue Form des Geldes ist, bedeutet dies nicht, dass damit keine Risiken verbunden sind. Als Ausgangspunkt, ist es wichtig, daran zu erinnern, dass die gleichen intuitiven Regeln, die für traditionelles Geld bestehen, auch für Ethereum gelten. Beispielsweise sollte man Geld nicht unter der Matratze verstecken, da es sonst gestohlen werden könnte. Oder man vertraut sein Geld keinem Fremden an.

Si bien es cierto que Ethereum es una tecnología muy emocionante a la vez que un nuevo tipo de dinero, esto no significa que carezca de riesgos. Antes que nada, es importante recordar que las mismas reglas intuitivas que se aplican al dinero convencional también se aplican al Ethereum. Por ejemplo, no tienes que guardar tu dinero en efectivo bajo tu colchón, porque te lo podrían robar, al igual que no tienes que confiarles tu dinero a extraños.
