There are many debates that have arisen over the validity of the triangulation between Spain, Latin America and Asia as an instrument to enlarge Spain's external influence. The aim of this document is to contribute to the debate through an analysis of the economic synergies that could be created between Spain, South Korea and for Latin American countries (Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Chile). The research team, comprised of Spanish and Korean experts, has concluded that opportunities exist in different fields, which they duly identify. Nevertheless, the team also states that in order to take advantage of these opportunities, what is needed is concerted action by different actors in different countries. In accordance with this, the innovative feature of this work is to propose a model of action through which to tackle the complexity of the process.
