Dans le cadre de ces travaux, l'équipe de la CEE a collaboré avec de nombreux chercheurs du SCF ainsi que d'une variété d'organismes de l'industrie, des milieux universitaires et du gouvernement à l'échelle nationale et internationale, y compris TEMBEC, BOWATER, DOMTAR, l'Université de Guelph, l'Université Trent, le Collège Dartmouth, le Lake Superior State University, le Sault College of Applied Arts and Technology, le Upper Lakes Environmental Research Network, le ministère des Richesses naturelles de l'Ontario et le USDA Forest Service des États-Unis.
