  Map Hanes Cymru: Concwe...
Mae Caerllion yn ganolog i stori Rufeinig y genedl. Roedd y gaer enfawr yn gartref i Ail Leng Augusta, a cheir yno amffitheatr Rufeinig wreiddiol. Credir bod lle i o leiaf 6,000 o bobl eistedd yn yr amffitheatr, a byddai eistedd yn y seddi blaen yma wedi bod yn brofiad eithaf gwaedlyd – dychmygwch wylio dyn ac anifail yn cwffio am eu bywydau!
Caerleon is at the heart of the nation’s Roman story. Once home to the Second Augustan Legion, the mighty fortress comes complete with an original Roman amphitheatre. Ringside seats at this amphitheatre, thought to have been able to seat at least 6,000 spectators, could have been a rather messy affair – just imagine man and beast fighting tooth and claw for their lives!

  Menter Treftadaeth Ddiw...
Yn ystod camau cynnar y prosiect cynhaliwyd arolygon archeolegol a chadwraeth manwl a oedd yn sail ar gyfer rhaglen heriol i atgyfnerthu gwaith maen y muriau sydd wedi goroesi ar y ddau fryn ar safle'r castell. Sefydlwyd maes parcio newydd nesaf at Eglwys yr Holl Saint yn Neganwy a cheir mynediad i'r castell o'r fan honno ar hyd llwybrau troed cyhoeddus â chyfeirbwyntiau.
At Deganwy, Cadw has also been working closely with the landowner and the tenant farmer to protect and to interpret the fragmentary and fragile remains of the castle. The early stages of the project included detailed archaeological and conservation surveys. This provided the basis for a challenging programme of masonry consolidation of the surviving walls on the twin hilltops of the castle site. A new parking area has been established next to All Saints Church in Deganwy and the castle can be accessed from there by waymarked public footpaths.
  Cadwraeth ar Safleoedd ...
Mae Cadwraeth Cymru yn gyfrifol am gyflawni gwaith cadwraeth am y tro cyntaf a gwaith cadwraeth arbenigol ar y 127 o henebion sydd o dan ofal Cadw. Er bod y gwaith yn ddiddiwedd, mae'n rhoi boddhad mawr; a cheir tystiolaeth o hyn drwy'r buddiannau cymdeithasol ac economaidd a ddaw i gymunedau lleol yn sgîl henebion o'r fath.
Cadwraeth Cymru is responsible for carrying out first-time and specialist conservation works to the 127 monuments in Cadw’s care. The task is perpetual, but nonetheless extremely rewarding; evidenced through the social and economic benefits such monuments play in local communities. Some buildings are in need of maintenance. Others have fallen into disrepair because they were no longer needed, and the useful timber and stone was taken away and re-used. In the case of castles, many were deliberately damaged after the Civil War so they could not be used to challenge the new government.
  Aberdâr
Mae'r strydoedd preswyl wedi newid yn sylweddol dros y blynyddoedd diwethaf, ond gellir gweld yr arddulliau unigryw a fabwysiadwyd gan dirfeddianwyr gwahanol ar adegau gwahanol o hyd, a cheir rhai manylion anarferol.
Aberdare enjoyed a meteoric rise from a small village with medieval origins to a full-blown town over the course of a few decades in the mid-nineteenth century.  Its rapid growth was fuelled by the iron industry and coalmining, and when they came to an end, they left behind a remarkably complete industrial town. A commercial and civic core is surrounded by a series of well-planned residential areas built on former fields. Each area has a dominant style of building and a distinctive character. In the town centre, the commercial buildings display their own style, including an unusual tradition of boldly decorated render. The residential streets have seen considerable change in recent years, but the distinctive styles adopted by different landowners at different times can still be seen, and there is some unusual detail.
